This week’s recommended book is brought to you by me, the Author of the Blog. “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is a delightful book that explores themes like growing up, the nature of existence, love, the modern world and its warped perspectives, and the nature of seeing what is true. Some might dismiss it out of hand as a children’s fantasy book. But I have always felt that it is precisely those reasons that we ought to take a closer look at what it holds. Wonder and danger, and the tragedy of loving and taming. The eyes of a child can show us how strange the world we have built with paper and arbitrary rules has truly become.
