I keep coming back here... I KNOW I told Jehovah, I'd do anything for Him and meant every word. I KNOW the past few years ESPECIALLY this last one I've looked completely certified and downright delusional. But facing the reality of it...? WHEEEWWW 🥴 Today I can't make heads or tails. If the first thing God spoke to you went completely against societal norms and would be widely rejected by your family, friends, society, the church, etc would you still do it? Would you ACTUALLY be okay being shunned, outcasted, rejected by everyone you know and love and be willing to stand alone with only a Word you think came from God? What's your level of conviction to the God you claim to love and serve? How committed are you really? I've heard so many claim they'll do anything for God and are fully committed, but as soon as tribulation came their way they were grumbling and doing the opposite of what they claimed. Threatening to leave positions or talking down on others going through their own testing or judgment. Be careful how you commit to God. If you're not ready to be all in, be honest with YAH. He honors those who have enough respect to tell Him exactly where they are in this faith walk. God already knows your level of commitment so when you tell Him you're in this, He's gonna test that. That's why you're dealing with certain situations. Let your trials be according to where you actually are in your faith walk and not based on the talk you're not yet ready to walk out. A good counterfeit will look good on the outside, but something about it will be off. Pay attention to the details! Though this bush has beautiful flowers, it's almost hollow overhead. The flowers give the impression that the bush is healthy and vibrant. Look closer! It's DRY and brittle. How was it able to produce so "beautifully"? Just because it looks good outwardly doesn't mean that there is anything within it to sustain what it's purporting. Look at the people in your life, the ministers "pouring" into your life, the relationships you have. Do they resemble this bush? Does it look good on the outside, sound good when you explain, but when you peel the covers back... Is there hydration? Is there good quality of life, are there good fruits born? Or is it just the opposite? Always saying good things, but not the right things. Tiny fizzle pops of fruits that make you think there may be greater fruit coming, but then it never actualize. When you hear their words, are you affected spiritually? Or just moved emotionally? Do you know the difference? What you see on the outside doesn't matter if what's on the inside is dry and not able to sustain and re/produce. In this transition period, take a moment and REALLY evaluate the people in your life and their produce. If there hasn't been much fruit, there isn't any hydration, and there isn't much growth in the right direction, can you honestly say that you're not likely dealing with a counterfeit? Or... Is it possible that you're the counterfeit? One person's counterfeit is another person's real thing. Is the false bond you're holding onto, for whatever the reason you're holding on, blocking everyone/everything involved from fulfilling his/her/it's God-ordained purpose? Can you stand to let go, so that YAH may be able to be glorified through it all?
