Seek Him.
Faith in God is being sure that He exists, and that his Word (the Bible) is true and that the Good News (Gospel) that is preached and sent out into the world, is true. Jesus died on the cross as an innocent and sinless Lamb and as a sacrifice for our sins and our imperfect state before God, and shed his blood of the covenant so that we may have forgiveness of our sins and come close to God in a relationship with Him, through the covenant blood that makes it possible for us in our imperfect state to have a close relationship with God, who is holy. Remember that we repent of our known sins, but after that we still need to be covered by the blood of Jesus because of our imperfect state before God. Only Jesus could live a perfect life before God. All true Christians are still in an imperfect state, even though we do not sin knowingly or willfully.
There is no other way of escaping being condemned to Hell. That is why God, who loves us, sent the Good News of salvation from going to Hell, into the world. The only way to God is through his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and that is through repentance of your sins, turning away from your sins, and receiving forgiveness of your sins by the blood of Jesus, recognizing your imperfect state before God, and accepting that you need the blood of Jesus to cover your imperfection before God, to turn then to God to be devoted to Him with all your heart and mind.
Then you will receive the Holy Spirit to enable you and guide you in your Christian life. And so you receive eternal life as a true Christian. You turn to God to live a life that is well pleasing to Him, and that is only possible if you have the Holy Spirit and obey the Word of God.
So, seek God with all that you have, and pray to Him. Ask Him to forgive your sins by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, turn away from your sins to live a life of obedience to God. Ask Him to give you the Holy Spirit to enable you and guide you in your Christian life. Don't wait. Seek God now. He is your Creator and He wants you with Him in his Kingdom of Heaven. Tomorrow you may die. Seek Him today.
Heb 11:6 [WEB] Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
