Seeking Silence [shsljournalistyokubo]
Because of her general dislike of people and social interaction, Aya quickly had learned how to avoid people as efficiently as possible at Hope's Peak. When she went for a jog, she knew just when to go to evade encountering anyone. She found the least crowded route to her classes, and she even knew which classrooms were unused so she could ensure that she could be alone when she didn't feel like travelling back to her dorm.
Today, feeling a bit stir crazy from cooping herself up in her room all the time, Aya had decided to do her homework outside. Earlier in the year, she'd found herself a nice table behind the school where no one ever went because it was a bit out of the way, and she made it her spot to enjoy the outdoors every once in a while.
As she sauntered over to her destination, books and binder in arm, she stopped short and scowled once the table came into view. There was someone there. Aya quickened her pace, refusing to abandon her plans because somebody didn't know their place.
When she arrived at the table, Aya slammed her books down hard and sat down across from the student, an unfamiliar girl. "Yo," she greeted, but her tone sounded threatening. "I'm gonna do some homework. Try not to bother me, okay?"
