‘I don’t think humans are supposed to be Gateways, little Moth.’
For a great International Asexuality Day! featuring Johnny, or Hurrican Sully, from @seeminglydark comics, which are great comics!
I've been jonesing to do some fanart of John O'Sullivan from @raptorjules gorgeous and amazing comics @seeminglydark and @mil-liminal. I couldn't resist doing a glam shot even if it's a bit (okay probably a lot) out of character, since the poor baby doesn't have the self esteem for it. I just couldn't resist giving the punk some lashes 😍
Both comics are available to read for free on tapas. I highly recommend checking them out, just be warned that you'll probably love them.
Done in coloured pencils and gouache on watercolour paper.
EDIT: I FORGOT HIS FRECKLES!!!
i wanted to wait and post all the outfits at the same time but now i realize that may have been overly ambitious
anyway! part 1 (of hopefully 3) sets of outfits for Caro and John from @seeminglydark and Mil-Liminal! fantastic spooky queer comics and podcast! they’re doing a DTIYS paper doll outfit designing thing in celebration of hitting 40k followers on IG!
character bases by @.raptorjules of course, i just did the clothes
Mil-Liminal Review
The podcast description is below!
Mil-Liminal is a bi-weekly, cozy horror podcast chronicling the adventures of a midnight shift gas station employee and all that implies.
The non-spoiler podcast and webcomic review is below!
This podcast is wonderful! It was my first step into the cozy horror genre! And by God it was a good one, hell, a great one! Caro Greene is a very relatable character, and I love the fact this podcast takes place in the same universe as two webcomics by RaptorJules!
Horror is one of my favorite genres and coupling it with cozy vibes makes it the perfect podcast to listen to while I work on script writing and just about anything else!
I have listened to all of the episodes within a couple of days! It was so worth it as well! Yes, I did binge listen to the rest of the episodes today! The stories are so intriguing and always make me so excited to dig into the next one!
A little note about me. I love liminal spaces and related images, projects, and spaces! Backrooms and projects like that! So being recommended Mil-Liminal was a breath of fresh air horror wise! Something not too much horror and not too cozy, just the right mix of both!
Thank you @raptorjules for making @mil-liminal and @seeminglydark! These stories are so gorgeous, and I love getting lost in them!
This is a brilliant podcast and universe with 11 episodes currently and 2 webcomics! It captured the vibes of cozy and horror perfectly and has been such a comfort to listen to! This is going to be my first 10/10 review!

I'm being tormented by the character!!! Caro Greene from @seeminglydark 's comics
I'd like to add a few more panels to this but hi hello here is Caro listening to Mitski's "Be the Cowboy" as they check into their sad little hotel room for a con/publicity event they are doing before they reconnect with John and meet everyone. I wanted to also do one of John in the same time frame and have both of them listening to music to process their non-allo feelings to. "Be the Cowboy" has some lines that feel stone-adjacent, but not definably Stone, which is also how I imagine Caro (at least for now).
Anyways, thanks @raptorjules I am completely hooked on your little guys!
