I wanted to mention that this event is 100% virtual. You don’t need to go anywhere or do anything physically if you can’t. And for those of you that are able to go all out, that’s awesome too!!! 👏 😎 Here are some recommendations and things that people have shared that they are doing on the 26th to trigger some ideas! • Share Katherine’s story with a child. We all have aspirations as a child due to things that affect us personally. Some of us are able to accomplish those goals. Let’s encourage some future doctors and scientists to find a cure! • Give a nice card, buy a coffee, pay for a small grocery bill, help a friend in need, and pass to them a picture, sticker, or bracelet of Katherine’s so that they know who inspired you to smile today! • Stop a stranger and ask if they would like the bracelet of a little girl who fought hard against an incurable disease. Ask them to look up #DIPG • Put items in random places for people to discover, and ask them to post their discovery on Katherine‘s page and tag #DIPG • Post on your page or share with someone what inspired you to support #DIPG. Which child, what event or photo, and why. • Tag a cancer/#DIPG family so they know that you are thinking of them, how you feel, sad or happy, and how their childs memory made you think of them today. *** Please share any other ideas that others can use in the comments! It would be greatly appreciated!
