No, stop, don't pun the pain.
Sei - 2014
Literally the best thing anyone has ever said to me. I guess my legacy for making inappropriate puns at the absolute best wrong time is set in stone.

Another successful Doctor Who night
Getting Sei caught up so we can watch the new season in August. Still on season 2 so this may take a bit, but I'm excited (I'm honestly just waiting for 11, he is my favorite). Also a wild scootaloveshack appeared and even more fun was had. We will be picking up tomorrow night as we always do and if you would like the link to the room just let me know, the more the merrier :)
LOOK ZAHZU I DID IT I'M A REAL BOY
I SAVED THIS INTO A NOTEPAD FILE AND FORGOT ABOUT IT. HERE IT IS NOW.
Rule 1: Post the rules
Rule 2: Answer the questions the tagger asked you then make eleven new ones
Rule 3: Tag eleven people and link them to your post
Rule 4: Let them know you tagged them
Questions for Me:
If you could domesticate any animal (real or not) to be as tame as the average dog/cat, what would it be? Probably foxes. Because they are super adorable both in appearance and the way they move, but they are still not domesticated enough to really be realistic pets...
Who is your favorite celebrity? I don't even know.... I have so many! Too many! Can't choose!
Which do you prefer — cake, cookies, or donuts? This mostly depends on my mood. More often than not though donuts!
Do you only like specific styles of music, or a variety? I enjoy a looot of music! The only music I can think of off hand that I don't particularly care for is country. Even some rap and hip hop can be enjoyable, But country just... bores me.
What’s your favorite time period (roaring ’20s, disco ’70s, etc.) and why? AS MUCH AS I LOVE THE '70s, I'M PROBABLY GONNA HAVE TO SAY THE '20s. Great music, great fashion, great cars, and a generally prosperous time for everyone in the USA, at least until '28.
Of all the world’s cultures (current or historical), which most interests you, and why? This one is difficult. Most 'cultures' kind of bore me? Probably because I don't care and have subconsciously associated the word 'culture' with painful and stupid history class questions? Something eastern European probably.
What’s your favorite style of party? (Quiet visit with a few friends; goofy birthday parties; boozin’ and shakin’; etc.) Goofy ones! Quiet visits can be fun, but as a party they would be boring. and the boozin and shakin ones just don't appeal to me.. too much noise, too much people, too many skindeep interactions with people who aren't who they normally are due to influences, and not enough meaningful interactions with real people. But I may just be a cynical ass.
In visual arts, do you prefer smooth & rounded styles, or sharp & geometric ones? Sharp geometric ones all the way! Smooth and rounded things are boring and not very creative, bleh. I like corners! Angles! Straight lines! More dynamic and interesting!
Do you dress in style for different seasons, or just wear whatever you want year-round? I pretty much just wear the same thing all year round. I adjust it as needed with shorter pants if it is hot or longer sleeves if it is cold, but it is the same basic outfit style.
What is the weirdest animal you’ve ever heard about? Probably that one animal that is related to elephants but doesn't look anything like them, the Hyrax.
MY CARPAL TUNNEL IS IN EXTREME PAIN AFTER DOING THIS THING. How does yours feel?? Not too bad. Mine mostly stems from my altered knuckle.
—————
NOW THAT WASN'T SO BAD.
What type of movies do you enjoy the most? What is your favorite instrument and why? What is your favorite current animation studio and why? How do you feel about the color orange? Favorite horse and why (no OCs)? Least favorite subject in school and why? In the morning, do you put on your shirt before your pants? Or the other way around? Conjunction Junction, what is your function? What is a lemur? What would you say is the worst movie you have seen? What color is my underwear?
TAG TIME GO, DO IT IF YOU WANT!
Oy, Endark! What url and title are we going for with the hipster pony blog?
Honestly, I’m good with anything. I’ve been using “The Indie Music Ponies” as a tag, since I called the original “script” (really, when I wrote it, I was focusing purely on humour instead of it actually becoming a thing) My Little Hipsters: The Indie Music Ponies. However, “indie-music-ponies” might give people the wrong message, and make them think the blog focuses on just that one small aspect of the hipster culture. Plus, as with A-M and his recent idea about Death Metal Bonbon (which is another wonderful idea, I think), I’m not actually talented when it comes to creating music and would hate to disappoint people coming to listen to some.
I suppose an accurate URL could be something like “my-little-hipsters”; maybe “ask-the-hipster-ponies” if there will be a greater focus on the characters than on what the “story” is. And I guess that’s an advantage of having the second post I made about a possible plot be extremely brief; the readers won’t have to be forced to ask certain things to reach the next plot point, and as long as the overall setting remains manageable, it could really turn out to be a unique and entertaining experience.
By the way, are you talking to sei-replies as well? Because at the very least, Sei certainly deserves some credit for inspiring this whole concept.
Fanart for some of my favorite artists!

Another successful movie night
Tonight Sei and I watched something serious and something absurd. Both equally great in their own ways.
We started with the classic (at least as far as I'm concerned, although I'm not sure if you are allowed to call a 16 year old movie a classic) SLC Punk! Which if for some reason you haven't seen it you should watch it immediately. I do have to warn you, you may cry during the movie at some point.
Then we went on to watch Tekken: The Motion Picture (the 1998 anime) and it was a whole lot more cheesy then I remember it but the whole thing can pretty much be summed up in two phrases. The first being "Eybrow length is directly equivilant to champion status" and the second, much more important one being "Invisible. Fucking. Dinosaurs"
For Sei. I have no excuse for how stupid these are...
(because 44 year old comedy routines are all the rage right now)
#doyouevenblaze?
(no one will get this last one but us but I figured it would make you laugh)
This took me like 2 hours to do all three of these, I can't believe it.
So Sei and I just watched two of the most different movies in a row and it was really fun.
The Lego Movie was tops, really impressed even on a second viewing. Then after that we watched Django Unchained because she had never seen it. Probably Tarantino's best work by far, and aside from a really awful joke that I made we actually got some okay puns out of a serious and dark movie.
Next movie night is going to be Tekken the animated movie and probably something else after that, perhaps The Worlds End because she just saw Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz with me for the first time a couple days ago
