Major Health Update + Animals Update

Animals: 🐍Elsa - Blizzard Cornsnake. She's doing so well! Eats every Friday on F/T mice and recently got her big girl cage of 35 gallons and lots of face succulents and log hides. She's over 4 feet! She was barely 50 grams when I got her in 2014 😭 🐍Mugen -Blood Python. HES 6.6 LBS GUYS. Eating large rats every 14 days now and dropping bigger shits than my 40 lb dog. Will still never strike at food and eats it like the prince he is. Has graduated from cinnamon bun to cinnamon loaf 🐍Melvin - Killer Bee Yellow Belly Ball Python (Rescued): my special snowflake that can't strike straight and does yoga all night but his animals plastic cage came in and is all snug and tight in his big boy cage :) on rats every 14 days as well. 🐍Rue - Jungleglow Boa. Growing like a beast! She's so sweet but feeds like a damn monster. Just got her a bigger tub and weighing in soon :) she's perfect and I can't wait to see her personality more 🐍Zahzu (fostering for @oceanndusst for a year): Regular Ball Python: had for two weeks and he's eating like a monster as well every Friday! Julz gave all of his caging and food and damn she's such a good owner. He likes yoga too. 🐊Toothless Blue tongue skink: he likes eggs and snails and takes naps next to me in a sock. Infinite grump sausage. 🦎Perona Truffle Crested Gecko: got her big girl cage and lots of new plants :) she likes to eat off of my finger and I leave a little dish of food every other day i collect the following morning. Likes to stare me down creepily while I'm in bed 🦇Athena Regular sugar glider (11 weeks OOP) - she's bonding so well with me and loves sweet peas and yogurt bites (also my fingers but we are working on biting you small goddess of war). Likes to scream until I scritch her cute self then chirps because bonding takes time 🦇Apollo White face sugar glider - (5 mo OOP) bonding has been easy with him and he likes to pee in my hair and all over me really. SOB just got neutered so he's still trying to mark his spots. He loves scratches and cuddling with his sister. He runs all night and demolishes sweet peas. 🐶 Aladar Perfect pupper . Perfect ESA. Perfect all around. Sleeps next to me on a pillow. Health - fainting spells are still an issue so going to sleep study for narcolepsy or apnea. Very fatigued during the day so getting new meds for energy that's not adderall. - fibro is bad but chiro is helping and going to acupuncture for ptsd and stress and seeing a new medical message therapist for trigger points asap. - going to try PT for my fibro - overall very sick. Losing weight but spirits are high. Positivity is high. Taking care of my animals and school Keep me going and keep my energy as up as it can be. - got a new job as assistant manager at the old coffee house I used to work at . Boss is my best friend and he understands my health so he let me make a schedule to be able to go to dr apt as well as work - therapy is well for ptsd - boyfriend is very supportive and I love him so much. That is all. I love you all. 💞

Questions for Me:

If you could domesticate any animal (real or not) to be as tame as the average dog/cat, what would it be? Probably foxes. Because they are super adorable both in appearance and the way they move, but they are still not domesticated enough to really be realistic pets...

Who is your favorite celebrity? I don't even know.... I have so many! Too many! Can't choose!

Which do you prefer — cake, cookies, or donuts? This mostly depends on my mood. More often than not though donuts!

Do you only like specific styles of music, or a variety? I enjoy a looot of music! The only music I can think of off hand that I don't particularly care for is country. Even some rap and hip hop can be enjoyable, But country just... bores me.

What’s your favorite time period (roaring ’20s, disco ’70s, etc.) and why? AS MUCH AS I LOVE THE '70s, I'M PROBABLY GONNA HAVE TO SAY THE '20s. Great music, great fashion, great cars, and a generally prosperous time for everyone in the USA, at least until '28.

Of all the world’s cultures (current or historical), which most interests you, and why? This one is difficult. Most 'cultures' kind of bore me? Probably because I don't care and have subconsciously associated the word 'culture' with painful and stupid history class questions? Something eastern European probably.

What’s your favorite style of party? (Quiet visit with a few friends; goofy birthday parties; boozin’ and shakin’; etc.) Goofy ones! Quiet visits can be fun, but as a party they would be boring. and the boozin and shakin ones just don't appeal to me.. too much noise, too much people, too many skindeep interactions with people who aren't who they normally are due to influences, and not enough meaningful interactions with real people. But I may just be a cynical ass.

In visual arts, do you prefer smooth & rounded styles, or sharp & geometric ones? Sharp geometric ones all the way! Smooth and rounded things are boring and not very creative, bleh. I like corners! Angles! Straight lines! More dynamic and interesting!

Do you dress in style for different seasons, or just wear whatever you want year-round? I pretty much just wear the same thing all year round. I adjust it as needed with shorter pants if it is hot or longer sleeves if it is cold, but it is the same basic outfit style.

What is the weirdest animal you’ve ever heard about? Probably that one animal that is related to elephants but doesn't look anything like them, the Hyrax.

MY CARPAL TUNNEL IS IN EXTREME PAIN AFTER DOING THIS THING. How does yours feel?? Not too bad. Mine mostly stems from my altered knuckle.
