Storm Grows North of Bismarck North Dakota by Arielle Seibold-Galston Via Flickr: Last Saturday I was lucky enough to be able to see this storm grow and change as I headed west on the interstate towards Bismarck. By the time I got to Morton County I saw this had formed into what I assume is called a super cell. It was really impressive, and I believe it spawned a tornado. I only had to drive through pounding rain, thunder and lightening (oh and lots of wind lol). It was so fun and I feel so lucky that I got to photograph this storm it was so much fun! I am a huge fan of bad weather :)

Beautiful Clouds Form After Thunderstorm, Beach, ND by Arielle Seibold-Galston Via Flickr: Never in my life have I ever seen more amazing storms, rainbows, clouds and just plain light than on the summer evening I took these photos. The skies went from black and stormy with lightning, to double rainbows and finally sun setting on fabulous cloud formations and the light changed second by second. No, this photo was not enhanced in any way. This was exactly what it looked like that evening--amazing. The entire evening was otherworldly--at times you felt that you could reach up and touch the clouds they were so low to the ground. The light was dark and heavy, light and bright, and in the sunset even pink and purple and orange! I only wish I could have captured it better.
