Spoiler for anyone who hasn't seen it yet... but how do you think Sienna Khan would handle waking up and being nursed back to health by a human of all people after Adam's betrayal? For extra angst, how do you think she'd feel falling for said human taking care of her, especially after finding out they're doing it for no other reason than it's the right thing?
Yes I have. Sorry for the wait on seeing it, I went to sleep earlier than I expected and missed it’s release. Watched it first thing after waking up though!
At first when she woke up she was just shocked in general.
So many questions went through her hear
How long had he been planing it?
How long had the people questioned her leadership?
And then she noticed the person taking care of her
They were frozen, clearly not prepared for her to wake up
And clearly aware of who she is
While she assumed they were human she did consider that perhaps they were a faunus who did not display their trait as promanantly.
Even if they were human she was in no state to fight, or even speak
She is the one who made the White Fang what they are
And it was all taken from her in seaconds
“I don’t know that happened to you and I know I’m not someone you want to see. But you’re hurt and I couldn’t just let those poeple bury you while you were breathing”
They were going to bury her? While she was breathing? Did she mean so little?
At leas their statment confirmed that they were indeed human
Weeks passed and she still did not speak, now not because she couldn’t but because she didn’t want to
Saved by a human? How humiliating
And yet they had done nothing to harm her
They were gentle and concerned
Each day they would ask how she felt and she would not respond
Why were they being so kind? She had done nothing but cause throuble for humans
She found herself becoming fond of them
And finally taking to them
They spoke until one day she asked
“Why are you doing this? What do you hope to gain from this?”
The human was confused. Gain from what? Helping her?
“Why have you healed me? In this state I could easily kill you”
“I did it because it was the right thing to do. Humans have treated faunus like second class citizens for so long and I know my actions will do little to change that but I can at least try and help someone in need. Faunus or not.”
A human who helped a faunus from the good of their own heart? Who would have imagined?
She stayed with them for a long time, knowing that if she showed her face anywhere it would get back to Adam that she had lived
Time to rethink her ideals
She had fallen for this strange human
And she needed a new was of thinking that she could use once reclaiming her rightful place as the leader of the White Fang
A way of thinking that would allow peace and not hatred between the two races
Once she gained support, that’s when she would tell them how she felt. When she knew she could gain her place and create a world the two could live in together with no worry for their safety.
