⚔️ // "i see ," byleth nodded and scribbled down the amount of keys needed to rent out one of the alcoves . "thank you for the information . i'll try to be in correspondence shortly."
as it would turn out , the cost to operate an altar to the goddess was . . . HEFTY . ( at least , it was when considering the amount of preparation involved on her own part . not to mention its upkeep were it to stay up for longer than a week . )
but it was a fine goal to strive towards . and more than that : honoring sothis in a way MOST APPROPRIATE to her old customs was worth any price . and with ( @seirosu ) ' s guidance and assistance , the time would be well spent either way .
𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐒 𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐆𝐈𝐀 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 had brought him here , where the skies fell off into the distant horizon peaks and the beginnings of vesper town slowly began to show itself in the valley below. at the precipice of the hills and cliff-lands that sloped ever-downward , at the top of the stone stairway that descended into the valley. here , where the central-most district ebbed into the region beyond. how it reminded him of asgard ; the view of his homeland from his balcony high above the city...
and so , once found , thor found himself returning to this small liminal space between places , where most would hardly stop save to catch their breath a moment from the climb. only this day , he found his presence was not the only one to linger here. sheltered beneath the bare branches of a nearby tree , tucked beside the iron handrails was a woman ...... and a cat. the little thing , white and black spotted , had curled itself around the woman's ankle — only to pause and bristle when thor approached if for nothing than the shadow of his bulk.
thor stilled himself at the other end and slowly knelt himself down.
❝ a fine friend you have made here, ❞ said he, ❝ has he a name? ❞

"Huh?"
What was that just now? She could have sworn she had just seen something at the corner of her eyes. Maybe it was the trick of the cold air's fog. Already, Luna's heart begins to thump against her chest. She wants to RUN, but her feet are planted firmly against the snowy ground. She breathes, almost a little too heavily. Is it the fog, or is she about to have another problem? The unknown is scary and she can't even MOVE because of her fear.
MOVE. RUN. You're going to get KILLED.
Finally, Luna takes her first step, but when she does, she spots someone where she had thought she saw someone just seconds ago. The reason for that fear to spike right through her.
It's no one scary looking--but someone beautiful. Like an angel, really. Luna is awestruck.
@seirosu but maybe you're a goddess and not an angel??

Flayn is truly overjoyed to be in a world with people, so many kinds and ages and races, and people at peace no less that at times her time in the Isles feels like a dream.
(Asleep, after the war, Flayn had little energy for dreams but when she did it was of this. Of peace.)
But at times the fact they are not her people, not kin nor the Children of Man she had come to call classmate and friend truly hurts her. In melancholy times such as these she often finds herself in the Reserve as she finds the animals and nature there truly restorative.
Padedu Temple looms over it all, reminding Flayn of the cathedrals in Enbarr her mother had so loved. She may not understand how this “aether” flows as she used to know her own magic so well but she is thankful for it and the peace of has brought her.
Flayn has never entered the temple, not thinking it her place but she ascends the stairs one at a time this afternoon as if in search of something; when her eyes land upon a flower, a *lily* of purest white shining amidst the greenery she finds herself gasping.
“Lady Rhea?! No…”
They braid… and the way she woman holds herself is much closer to Flayn ‘s memories of, -
“Perhaps, Lady Seiros? Is it truly you?”
The Lost Dragonborn ~ @bxsiliisk
This hole. This deep, dark, unpredictable pit of uncertainty was playing with the mind of the girl. She was struggling more than usual to understand what was happening around her.
She was in a place she had never seen before. Thick of trees she didn't know, plants she did not recognize, and not a soul around her to help her troubled mind - to help her understand all of this.
But even more so, how now all of her magic was back.
She had grown accustomed to not carrying the burdens of chaos, she enjoyed it apart from the slivers of what was evidently returned. But now in this twisted forest, any wrong spell could set it ablaze.
Worse still to her were the creatures she had come across. What she thought were beautiful mushrooms and plants turned into horrible plant monsters that chased her through the jungle. Throughout the path were many hidden traps. Thankfully she has experience in identifying these things, but a wrong step had left a painful slash in her foot. It cut free the bandages she usually had wrapped around her feet, leading to her like a breadcrumb trail.
She barely noticed the pain, finally finding relief in a family place, a cave. She hurried towards it, welcoming the shelter from this strange land. Her blood leaving little red drops in the dirt as she went.
She found herself a place among the rocks, and the pain in her ankle began to catch up to her as she sat down. She was out of breath. It was rare that she had ever had to run for her life. What if she could not find a way out? This cursed forest seemed endless and dangerous. How long would she survive?
The sheer amount of adrenaline, combined with the panic of her thoughts left her body trembling as she began to cry, burning her head in her curled-up body, praying that this nightmare she was trapped in would end.

One of these things were different to the other, knowing Lysithea isn’t alone but with Rhea as well. Tailtean Plains is where they at as of now after entering one of the mists. For sure, it could be way before but who knows unless explored but the dangers here were in the unknown, knowing there could be a war happening between two unknown sides.
“Are we back at Fodlan? Why is it so different?” As they ended up southeast of the plains, she did have to ask that question to Rhea since she will be in company until then.
“You have any clues of we're actually back?" It concerns Lysithea if they did return back home or not explaining the curious look on her face.

It was a perfect chance to inflict fear to Rhea but it was best not to underestimate her if things will not end well between them. Bad blood always stir between Agarthans and others. Perhaps. now is not the time to do so. Kronya do admit that she have never met Rhea in any encounter but here, it is now,
This wonders what was her relationship with Jeralt which explains her purpose and to ask.
“You’re the Archbishop? Do you mind if i ask anything about that man, Jeralt? It looked like you’re thinking about him.” No filter, no shapeshifting and Athame is on the sheaths.
