His eyes perked up with a bright smile. That's great! It's nice that he can fully greet her without danger looming around them. Besides, he can memorize the layout of the Isles while they walk. He may not be the most strongest, but his memory is nothing to scoff at.

"Alright! Let's be on our way then!" Tethu smiled happily. "Maybe, we can even explore more of the farmlands if that's-!" Just when he took two steps ahead, he stops. Frozen. Staring at a store window. Beyond the window held spring decorations and, of course being the namesake of the shop, sweets. From chocolate bunnies to candy flowers and strawberry desserts.

Tethu currently is staring at them like a vulture spying on a dead corpse. Oh dear. Those looked amazing. He wants them. No, he can resist. He has errands and should know the Isles better. He has self-control. He can resist.

He can resist.

"Tethu?" Only very briefly is Luna worried when he suddenly stops like that. Then, she sees it. The sweets and Luna can't help but laugh lightly. "Hey, you know they're pretty affordable! The candy flower is really good and a lot of their fruit desserts are delicious, too. Did you...Did you want to get some?

We can snack while we explore. They have refreshing drinks too to keep us cool." Oh, Luna is such an enabler!

"Oh, I can't trouble you with that!" He waves his hands, a bit suprised and embarrassed.

"I've explored a bit beforehand. B-But, maybe instead we can look at the local shops together? I don't think I've seen much of the shops. If that's alright with you, of course!" Which is true, he was hoping to do some errands today. Maybe grocery shopping even.

But, he can't burden her with that. Besides, he rather her have fun than do something boring like touring him around. He's great at memorizing the layouts of areas, he'll manage.

"It wouldn't be any trouble at all," Luna is quick to reassure just as he was quick to decline her help. She understands better than anyone that asking for help makes one feel like a burden. She was still learning after all.

At his suggestion though, she does smile and nod. "Mm. I was thinking about taking a look at some of the shops." And it was better to get to know a potential new friend under a much more pleasant circumstance.

THE SURPRISE:

Good HELLO everybody, it's Gemmy or Kang here, and I just wanted to let you guys know about the surprise I had in mind, but before that!!! Please check out the info. I only added one thing to the rule page and changed a few other things around that needed updating.

𝐈𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐁𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐃 into the tongues and the hearts of all asgard that when their prince was born , asgard was struck by a storm ; the greatest of storms in all eternal memory . for centuries it was feared , between whispers within the house of odin , that thor was born a FRETFUL CHILD . for he had cried fitfully each night that the winds howled and peals of thunder shook the great palace of valaskjalf . it was not until his mother , ALL - MOTHER , and the wisest woman of all the realms , spake , and bid the realm understand what she long had of her firstborn son :

thor's first words were spoken in thunder , and so would be his last .

and so , for a very long moment , there was only the sound of rain as it fell from the heavens . it drummed along the ground and the roads and pelted along the shingles above their heads . sharp , pointed droplets that beat and battered . thor breathed , and curled his fingers around the whole of the hand placed in his . quiet , he watched her . quiet , if only because AT FIRST , even the mighty thor — for all of his bellows and bluster — . . . knew not what to say .

❝ i am not angry with you . ❞ thor said eventually . gently , he squeezed her hand . ❝ i only wish to understand your heart . so again i ask you : what is it that frightens you so ? ❞

"I'm not sorry because I think you're angry at me." She hopes it will be a little of reassurance.

She'd squeeze his hand in return as hard as she could, but she isn't very strong. Still, she seeks out some kind of protection. Funny, isn't it? Luna, scared of thunder and lightning, and the rains that followed, seeking the very thing THAT was all of those things. Thor was the god of thunder. He made it thunder, he made it strike lightning, and he made it rain. He could do all those things. Those things didn't exist without Thor.

She finds a small- very small courage to peek at him. Only those puffy red eyes are visible to the god.

"I've always been a little bit scared," She admits. "Weathers like this...it-it's when the ghosts---the bad ones are more active. I saw them everywhere. I see them everywhere. The good and the bad ones, but when it rains...When it's dark and gloomy, and the weather is like this, there are more scary and bad ones."

Luna sniffles, using her free hand now to wipe away at her runny nose. Those eyes that threatened more tears are finally, once again leaking. Droplets roll down her cheeks. "When my parents took me on that trip. We got in the car, and I had so many warnings, but I ignored them all. It rained. The thunder rumbled at a distance, but my parents were safe drivers. The accident happened because--," she chokes a little, unable to finish her own sentence.

"When that evil ghost took control of my body and...." Thor knows. He has seen what that evil spirit did to the family who adopted her. Mr. and Mrs. Mathis and their children, Joey, Robyn, Ingrid....

"It was storming that night....," She says barely above a whisper. "I ran through it all." She won't forget those awful events.

"I don't want to be scared," She admits. "I don't want to be scared anymore, but I don't know how not to."

⋆˙⟡ :- Lilith sets the freshly baked pie on the counter, turning her eyes thoughtfully towards Luna at the table. Although Lilith missed her Myst dearly, she was happy to provide a home and company to young Luna. It was unusual to be around someone so young often, but Lilith quickly found that Luna was as much of a wanderer as she was.

" Hmm . . . I suppose in a way. " Lilith ponders quietly, setting her oven mitts down and striding towards the dining table. Once settled in the seat across from Luna, Lilith brings her full attention to her roommate, considering her choice of words carefully.

" Speaking in truth, ever since I was a young girl, I have used my magic freely. " Lilith explained softly. " My parents gave me away to the church of the Lotus as a baby. My sisters explained that my markings meant I was to be the vessel for Gaia. It was imperative that I have skill over my magic so that I may facilitate her will in all things. "

Lilith paused, hearing a soft squeaking sound. Upon looking down, she smiled, realizing that Duncan sought her shoulders as a perch. With a soft chuckle, Lilith picked up the creature and allowed him to rest in the crevice of her neck.

" I was taught how to use my magic by many mentors. Namely, the high druid Phineas. He was the most skilled of all druids in my home. " She paused, the shine in her eyes dulling ever so slightly, remembering that man. However, she quickly shook her head. " Regardless... becoming more aware of what you can do may most certainly aid in your comfort. The magic that dwells in all of us is merely an extension of who we are in a way. "

The pie smells really good.

In a way, her world and Luna's weren't entirely different. Gods, magic, they, too, existed in her world. Not everyone had magic, and not everyone believed in gods or was a god, but Luna was aware that they existed.

Lilith didn't talk much about some things. The mention of Gaia may have been the first for her. Luna doesn't remember hearing about it, at least. But she was here when something was going on. She won't forget that immense energy she felt and the feeling of life being drained.

"...." She wants to ask if Lilith was doing well since then, but now is not the time.

"I want to be at that level," She finally says with a nod. "Do be able to be comfortable with my own abilities. Sometimes, though, I'm a little scared of the things I can do. I think you're one of the only people I feel I can admit this to, too."

"Will you tell me more about the magic from your world?"

"Oh, I'm fine! There's no need to worry about me, I knew what I was getting into after all." He doesn't need to mention the whole 'being poisoned' situation. That was because he was too clumsy.

"But yes, I was new here. Or, still am? I haven't really got the chance to explore with the co- er.. Snow? That and all." Tethu sheepishly rubbed the back of his head, having to remind himself that the cold fluff has a name. It's still very foreign to him, the concept of snow and winter. All he knows is that he felt horribly drained and chilled to the bone.

"My name's Tethu. I came from a desert, or uh.. It used to be a desert? But life came back to it after.." His voice trails off, and he can almost feel the raindrops hitting his face and skin. He can almost see her transparent form before she..He shakes his head.

No, none of that.

"It's a long story. Nevertheless, I suddenly appeared here a bit before the event."

It's better to introduce yourself when you're not in the middle of danger. So naturally, when Tethu introduces himself, she will do the same. "I'm Luna. I've been here a while now." What happened before was nothing new for her.

"If you want, I can keep you company in checking places out. I-It'll be my thanks to you for helping me back there."

𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐑 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐃 the presence of a storm , for its name danced upon the winds that nipped at noses , burst through fields and ran across streets . it was to be a great , enduring storm throughout the evening and into the long hours of night , and so the skies wore the dark , mottled grey of skies bound to thunder ; the hallmarks of a rain long past due . SKY - FATHER THAT HE WAS , thor was happy to hear of its coming . his heart of hearts rejoiced in its visitation , and he had long kept his eyes upon the sky with BAITED BREATH . simply waiting .

there were some that did not share his joy upon storm's advent . this , thor had long known , and each time that thor caught wind of it , he HELD HIS TONGUE on the matter . storms were a great many things . storms brought rains and life to all earths , and in the same breath of wind STRUCK FEAR INTO THE HEARTS OF ALL MEN . it was wise to be wary when a storm was on its path towards you . it was a sensible thing to remain inside .

but storms were not just thor's friends and his heralds . he was each drop of rain , each blustering wind . each arc of lightning echoed the flame of his heart ; THUNDER WAS HIS SPIRIT , and it was the spirit of thunder to be heard .

and so it was with some difficulty - some silent lamentation - that thor felt more than saw luna's quiet curl and the hunch of her shoulders , EVER INWARD . pressing lips thin , thor turned his gaze from the skies and to the young mortal . like so many times , thor bent a knee to face her on her terms , and although thor would not command the storm to hold its tongue this night , he did beseech it to WAIT — if only a moment more .

She tried.

Even as a small child afraid of thunder, she had tried to be brave. The heavy rain, the loud booming sound, and the screaming winds had been too much for her. As a child, way before her parents death, she'd run into her parents room crying and cuddling with them. With her adoptive parents, she stayed with Joey, who had been afraid of thunder, just like her. She tried to be brave for him.

And she tried to be brave now. Thor was the God Of Thunder. This was a part of him, and to be afraid of it meant being afraid of Thor. She wasn't afraid of hi--

Luna flinches, curls into herself a little more. She trembles and anticipates that first BOOMING noise.

"I'm sorry--," she says ever so quietly.

She musters enough courage to try to look at Thor, but her eyes must have been playing tricks on her. She thought she saw lightning, and a small hand latches onto Thor, tightly. "I'm sorry-I'm....I'm sorry."

Tethu perked up at the quiet voice and looked up to see the girl he met on Ocellus Isle. It has been some time since that event, with things going back to a peaceful standard and a festival coming soon. The shift to warmer temperatures was welcoming but festivals feel a bit bittersweet to him.

Nevertheless, he gives Luna a soft smile. "Oh, there's no need to thank me! I'm just glad to help. Have you been recovering alright?" Even if rescued before anything truly horrible happened, the terror of that disaster would take a toll on anyone. Another concern is that the man responsible for it all is still out there, possibly plotting to attack them all again.

But, he shouldn't scare her with that. Better to let people enjoy the peace now that things have settled.

"Mm, I am. And yourself?"

At the back of her mind, Luna knew she had to get stronger so something like that couldn't happen again. Of course, she was well aware that situations such as that were way out of her control. Even the strongest that she knew, those being the gods here, had no power against what happened.

"Was this.....were you still new here at the time?" She only asked because at the time, he had been a face she was not familiar with.

"Oh, hey...You're the one who helped me out of that awful place." She'd recognize him from anywhere. Luna smiles after gathering herself together and bows her head.

"Thank you for getting me out of there."

"Are you comfortable with the things that you can do that no one else can?" Luna asks curiously. "I guess, what I mean is...Like, I don't usually use my powers. The involuntary ones don't really count, but I never had the need to use, like, say, my telekinetic abilities until coming here...Because I was scared. I still am, but I have people helping me. Do you have something like that? Or are you comfortable using your powers because you have a good handle on them?"

Okay, let's try this one more time.

Here's a starter call for Luna! I'm capping this one at 2 just to get the ball rollin' again.

She's a student at Blue Lion, she's working on her powers, AND she may be looking for a little easy job (since she's only 14. NO CHILD LABOR HERE.)

She may also be getting BACK into enjoying music.

The doors open from the end of the hall, two scientists walking in and chatting amongst themselves. Tethu tries to listen into their conversation...

"Man, these echoes sure play tough to get! I mean, geez! It'd be much easier if they just stay put, huh?" A woman's voice spoke, preppy and cheerful. As if this whole facility didn't kidnap echoes to experiment and hold them captive. "Stay focused, Ada. Not only are these specimens clever, there's also suspicion of others breaking in. Could be the remaining echoes performing a rescue." The other one responded, the voice notably more calm and stoic. "Man, that's a bummer. Buuut, that means it'll be more fun! I love a good challenge!"

Tethu peeks over, getting a glimpse of the two scientists. The preppy woman had curly blue hair, but what stuck out to Tethu was that mechanical prosthetic. The other woman was an older one with gray hair and spectacles. They are about to leave, it looks like. Good.

"Hey, what does the boss want us to do if we run into that one?" The blue haired woman asks. "Just catch him like the others?" The older woman responds with a nod as they leave the area.

Tethu takes a look at the hall, then gestures her to follow. "It's clear now. We're almost there, just a bit more." There's worry on whoever they were talking about, but he would have to think about that later. Guiding her to safety is more important.

Luna places a hand over her mouth to quiet her breathing just a little. Good thing the two that entered the same room as them was speaking. The child is nervous. Wants to get out of here as quickly as possible, and she's sure Tethu thinks the same.

When the two leaves, Luna sighs out quietly. Wouldn't want to draw attention back into the room as they're about to escape.

Now, with weapon in hand, she looks to Tethu with a nod. "Okay. I'm right behind you." She has questions as they begin moving.

"Did you see anything while out? Like...what they plan on doing with us?"

Tethu thinks for a moment. True, a weapon for self-defense will be good for her, regardless if they're together or not. But, he'd rather not get one of those from the rooms. Not only of.. The implications of them, but they don't look like something useful for combat, especially against the metal enemies. There is something..

He takes out a pocket knife from his tool belt. It's.. not the best but, better than the ones in there. "You can have some of my tools. Don't worry, I have plenty." He gives her the Pocket Knife, along with a few Taze Disks. That's better than those small needles and tiny knives in the rooms.

He looks ahead to the door, staying silent. He thought he heard footsteps..

Gesturing her to get behind the nearby door, he backs into a room.

"Thank--Thank you..." She takes the offered weapons. He says he has had enough, and she hopes he isn't saying that to make her feel better in any way. She stores them and freezes when she, too, thinks she heard something.

"..." She doesn't say anything, but she looks at Tethu with worry in her eyes as they back into a room to remain undetected.

EMERGENCY COMMISSIONS (Pet Health)

I'm making this post as a last resort kind of deal. My dog, Lulu, has been feeling rather ill, with frequents vomits after almost every meal. She does have a heart murmur, but up until relatively recently, the murmur hadn't been a problem. I'm afraid the cause of her vomiting is caused by her heart murmur, but on my own, I do not have the funds or capability to take her to the vet.

"I know some ways. There's emergency exits around the labs that lead to the outside." He said, kneeling down and imagining the map he was shown before they landed on the polluted Isle. That is the quickest way outside, especially since each building except one has an emergency exit.

There's also escape through how he got in here, which is hiding in cargo boxes and getting in through the Littoral Wing. But, that may be more risky. "Another way out is through the pipes underground. That has some slime monsters but they can be avoided if we're careful. There's alot of toxic waste so I'd say our best bet is the emergency exits or the Cargo Ship."

Best to have the pipes as a last resort. He doesn't know if she can stand the toxic fumes from the waste, while he knows he'd take alot of damage from the waste. This mask has been a lifesaver for him especially when getting here, where the air could make him weaker than he already was. If they have to, they'll go through the pipes. But, he rather would chose a more safer path for her.

Tethu looks back up at her, his blue eyes showing a look of reassurance. "Either way, we'll get out of here in no time."

Luna feels her chest compressed. Like something weighs down on it. She's scared, but she can't just stay in here. She needs to get out. They need to, and the last thing she'd want is to put this person in danger.

"Okay. I don't know how well going through the pipe'll be. I'm not immune to any of the toxic waste." And maybe he isn't either. "We can try for the emergency exit, then."

Now, she looks around to see if she can, by chance use anything to her advantage.

Tethu nods as he looks out the area, cautious of anyone or anything coming in. Alright, so the emergency exit is down on the second floor. They'll have to not only pass through the labs, but also the housing of all the Scientists. But, it's a shorter and more safe distance than trying to go back to the Littoral Wing.

"Alright, let's move out before anyone comes in." And making sure the coast was clear, he leads her throughout the floor, glancing at the many empty cages. It seems that many captives had broke out on their own, possibly scattered through the labs. Or, they've been taken somewhere much dangerous. Tethu made his way to another section of the Hyaline Wing, looking inside only to feel a chill down his spine.

Oh.. There's many small rooms, glass windows to look inside them clearly. Even if a part of him didn't want to. Each room held metal tools that were foreign to him, yet spiked alarm all the same. Some of them looked.. Very recently used.

"Don't look into the other rooms, alright?" He said, turning to Luna and pointing at the door across them. "Just look at the door while we walk ahead. Don't look anywhere else. I'm keeping an eye out so it'll be fine."

She appreciates that he's saying all of this. trying to save her from seeing anything she may not want to see. While her eyes tend to see things others or most could not see, she'd rather not see constant death nor sense it. She supposes that the one good thing that comes out of this is that everything is dormant. "Thank you."

Still, as much as she did want to avoid seeing them....

"If there are any weapons to use, we should grab them." The question she had, though, was whether she would be able to use it against an actual being?
