You know, Mashima didn’t have to give Freed a sword as an extra item for his magic (and for general swordsmanship skills), but he did. Not because it’s a necessity for Freed or something but because a sword and those extra skills suit his aesthetic and swords are also very sexy and so is Freed

Listen, I’m just being a bit emotional and happy over that infirmary bedside scene again because it’s short but it’s got so much in it, and my favorite things, too.

The anime had a bit less quality than the manga but whatever.

It has Freed looking hot in casual clothes, it has Freed and Laxus, it has Natsu and Lucy, it’s got Freed and Lucy brotp or maybe even the big brother kinda vibes.

Like we haven’t seen Lucy and Freed interact much but I always imagined that they could get along very well. It’s another bonus that they teamed up with Levy to save their boyfriends at the end, smart brains.

Freed doesn’t have to visit Lucy. He’s recovered from the fucking explosion quickly and probably can’t stand staying in bed for another minute, so he goes to check up on Lucy and Natsu and that’s just really heart-warming. It also shows the development he has gone through from his first appearance.

Lucy asks him in return and she’s relieved that Ever and Bixlow will be fine, too. Lucy’s kind-heartedness is so wholesome. But of course she’s also worrying about Natsu who’s looking so so vulnerable right then and there. She just wants to be with him, wants to wait until he wakes up so he won’t be alone. She’s praying he IS gonna wake up.

And Freed is asking about Laxus. It’s obvious that he’s really really worried, too. It shows in the small hesistance of his last words but also in his face.

Like look at this. He just knows Laxus so well. He’s smiling but there’s just that something in his eyes that turn it into such a damn loving but also worrying facial expression and the look Lucy gives him, just- she gets it. She understands. She looks as though she realizes right then and there just how worried Freed is for Laxus. It’s the same worry she has for Natsu.

Guys, like, I can’t even put it all into words, there’s just something about this scene that incredibly expressive and meaningful and telling so much plus having the one or other nice side bonus.

Fellas, is it alright to be disappointed/low-key pissed that they really just... not included Freed, Bix and Ever in the new FT Game? Like I never thought they’d be playable, I at least hoped they’d be NPCs like so many others in there and if not even that then at least let someone mention them but... it gets better/worse.

Apparently they’re just?? Cut out of existence and aren’t even mentioned?? Like, not on Tenrou even though Freed was a S-Class candidate and important for the Tenrou circle at the end and the Raijinshuu were Team Tenrou?? And, Tartaros? From what I read in the short summary scene (they apparently didn’t include Laxus’ fighting scene) it says that Laxus protected one of the ‘councillers’ and Laxus is heavily injured now.

Like I’m sorry but why we Raijinshuu fans get to have disappointment after disappointment after disappointment. Bullshit here, heavily powered-down there, disappearing from the face of the earth randomly, getting pushed aside with ridiculous reasons...

I’m sorry if this sounds pissed but I’m just...... It feels so shitty yanno. There are literally so many animated characters in there.

From what I saw they also deleted Meredy from Crime Sorciere but I could be wrong. Idk man, just lemme be disappointed. Again. Like, plz try to understand my feelings abt this lmao. I don’t know how many characters really got this fate but as the Raijinshuu are my favorites, of course I am gonna look for them. So idk, just, ... They could have at least mentioned them and give them speech bubbles if they’re not gonna give them 3d models. Like they did with some other characters, even friggin Macao for example. I don’t think he’s got a 3d model in the game but I’ve seen him in a speech bubble so yea.
