I’m racking up my experience with colorwork! These are my third set of stranded colorwork mittens, so it’s still a relatively new technique for me. It’s a lot of fun, though, so I will definitely be making more soon!

These were a Christmas gift for my husband, knit with stash yarn. Fingering weight, merino/nylon blend.

Can’t stop knitting, have lost my mind.

I made this design and would like to release it for free once I get a pdf together. Not a fan of the cuff though, gonna unpick and redo somehow.

International women's day shout-out to Marit Gulsethbrua Emstad.

At just age 16 she popularized the selbu rose(yes, that 8 point snowflake design is actually a flower) design, and turned her little norwegian home into a popular tourist destination. And it all started with 3 pairs of mittens, 164 years ago.(mitten for reference. Chart is one of her patterns from later in life.)
