Replaying imperial agent storyline.

Last playthrough I saved Chance, but this time - you know what? Fuck that guy. He was going on about how "oh, I'm sorry they mind control you, I'll never do this, I'm a good guy." and then he uses the code word on Taris like right away? (I love that "I would've come anyway" is one of the answers, even if you can't say it out loud.)

But fine, he could've asked nicely for a patch up at the lab and apologized for the mind control thing bc yes, he was in a bind, but he's so so sorry. Instead the motherfucker DOUBLES DOWN and tries to command you again?! Alright, rot in whatever hell you believe in. (Also, can we talk about how the whole mind control thing feels extra gross when the agent is a woman, especially with Hunter's remarks about her being his servant or whatever later in the story?) Edit: the sniper's farewell letter after Chance's death has me screaming, because "he loved animals"?! It's giving "I can excuse mind control, but I draw the line at animal cruelty"

Another gripe about swtor LIs: When playing m!Bounty hunter, I avoided flirting with Mako the best I could ( apart from like, one convo in chapter 3, where flirt option was the only one that didn't seem mean) and the game locked me into a romance with her and didn't leave any out options.

But my f!Sith warrior - oh noooo, you didn't harass Quinn with sleazy remarks at every opportunity - no romance for you!

(The betrayal doesn't hit as hard with non-romanced Quinn, I needed it for the drama.)

On a related, but different note: Aric Jorgan being all frustrated by his own feelings is hilarious. Gonna have to make another trooper char, I need more of the grumpy sniper.

Was anyone gonna tell me how precious the f!Inquisitor/Andronikos storyline is or was I just supposed to play it and see for myself?

Seriously, the proposal was almost kind-of romantic. (For Andronikos that was downright sugary sweet.)

And, unrelated to the romance, are we gonna talk about how you basically create your own proto death star?

I also love how romanced Andronikos is like "getting cozy with him, huh?" if you flirt with Urtel, and if you tell him not to be jealous he's like "Nah, no jealousy here, I just don't like nobles."

Sith inquisitor feels a bit more, uh, darkside than sith warrior tbh. Even her voice is more "I'm going to kill you slowly and I'm going to enjoy it". Half the time I can't tell if she's really flirting or if she's just toying with people.

I think what Jaesa really needs is a hug and someone telling her that you don't need to go full sith to enjoy crop tops and makeup.

(Though judging by how I've seen makeup heavier than "no makeup look" almost exclusively on Empire NPCs, perhaps that's how things are over in the galaxy far away. :/ )

Also not me trying to stay true to my lawful evil sith character and turning Jaesa into DarkSide-Yandere-Jaesa and then realizing I now have to deal with her antics.

In recent news: I got a drop that binds on equip, so I could preview it on multiple characters and it's literally a crop top when previewed with my sith and a full-cover top when previewed with my jedi.

Stop jedi crop-top shaming now!
