Does File>Import>Video To Frames not work?

you need it .mov or .avi for it to work on mac. I’ve got .mkv files rn so i have to convert to even get it into imovie then convert out of there and i’m basically whining about having to convert twice bc i am a baby. there was noticable loss between my first convert to mov to the one that came out of imovie so i was looking for workarounds that might be better where i can still trim the file a bit bc SCROLLING THROUGH 45 MINUTES ON THAT STUPID IMPORT WINDOW IS ANNOYING AS FUCK

Would it be possible for someone who is stuck to resent it overtime?

Yes definitely, and we both agree it would be very interesting to see a character who turned out like that. A lot of the inhabitants (oddly enough most of the older ones) are unaware that they’re stuck at all however the town natives as well as the most observant ones have figured it out basically, and I think a fair amount of people who know would feel trapped. Even if the person wasn’t aware they were physically stuck it might still effect them mentally.

Is there a restriction to how far back a person could be from? For example, could someone be from the 1800's or the 1600's?

I would say there’s no restriction, Jordan and I agree that the town was established in the 1600’s or so but generally speaking we see no reason for a restriction on how far back a character can be from!

What happens when someone does get stuck? If they try to leave are they physically unable to cross the town border?

It’s a mix of both mental and physical blocks, though I would say it’s primarily mental. That is to say someone who’s a resident who’s stuck will mentally not be able to come to terms with leaving, and if they did attempt to leave they’d eventually be stopped by a feeling of dread and fear of the outside world. Then again if they managed to surpass that or accidentally came near the border they’d probably end up with their car crashing or they would black out upon hitting the border.

When someone makes the decision to live in Coseytown, does that mean they can never ever ever leave?

Not necessarily, people can live in Coseytown and stay there for a good amount of their life and then get up and leave again. Fate basically decides if a person will stay there permanently or not, it’s usually not a conscious decision on the person’s part they only later realize that they’re stuck. The youngest a person can be when they end up stuck is eighteen, though at that age it’s fairly rare because many people go off to college only to return later.
