For the past few weeks, she’d been doing whatever she could to keep herself busy and keep her mind from running. Her newest way of keeping busy was baking, which lead her to having way more treats than she could ever eat. Packing up some of the cookies she’d made during the night into tupperware boxes, she headed towards where the shops were. After spending a few minutes handing them out, her eyes landed on someone new. “Cookie?” Offering the tub out towards them, she put the most polite smile possible on her face. “I may have made a few... dozen too many.”

                    A  LAZY  GAIT  AND  A  CHARMING  SMILE  ,  mark  approached  the  nearest  interesting  looking  person  .  “  hey  ,  good  afternoon  .  i’m  mark  ,  and  all  the  seats  in  here  are  taken  .  you  wouldn’t  mind  if  i  joined  you  ,  would  you  ?  ”  his  eyes  all  but  sparkled  as  he  laid  on  the  charm  ,  an  act  most  in  his  life  would’ve  found  revolting  .  “  i  can  assure  you  i’m  good  company  .  i  have  tons  of  interesting  stories  .  what  do  you  say  ?  ”

with   his   feet   perched   on   the   ledge   of   the   window   ,   he   was   thankful   for   the   boost   that   came   with   the   good   place   --   aware   that   scaling   the   side   would   not   be   as   easily   without   pixie   dust   .   his   being   here   was   entirely   proof   of   that   .   peter   remained   still   ,   his   finger   tapping   against   the   window's   glass   with   determination   ,   his   face   expressing   the   same   .   "   '   ello   --   'cuse   me   .   "   perhaps   the   window   trick   did   not   have   the   same   results   outside   of   the   human   realm   --   but   a   voice   ?   a   voice   surely   did   . @selectedhq-starters​

OPEN  STARTER  FROM  JAMIE  TAYLOR  -  CLAYTON (  @selectedhq-starters​  )

                    staying  up  late  was  beginning  to  be  a  regular  for  jamie  ,  but  it  was  her  routine  .  a  routine  that  worked  for  her  ,  &  with  the  routine  getting  set  in  place  ,  it  allowed  a  relaxing  nature  to  fall  over  the  clayton  home  .  dani  had  her  nighttime  routine  ,  while  jamie  enjoyed  to  sit  alone  &  watch  her  plants  from  their  small  porch  .  the  noise  caused  her  to  jump  ,  looking  out  into  the  darkness  with  a  pinched  face  of  annoyance  .  ‘‘  oi  !  you  better  not  fork  anything  up  !  ’’  she  hissed  into  the  dark  ,  slowly  beginning  to  make  her  way  to  where  the  noise  came  from  .  ‘‘  i  mean  it  ,  i’ll  make  the  bloody  bad  place  look  like  paradise  if  you’re  messing  with  my  garden  .  ’’

IF  THERE  WAS  ANY  indication  that  she  was  not  acting  like  herself  ,  this  was  it  .  hermione  re  -  enters  the  coffee  shop  sporting  a  rather  bewildered  expression  as  she  makes  an  immediate  beeline  for  the  small  nook  she  had  previously  inhabited  only  an  hour  before  .  she  allows  no  hesitation  as  she  steps  towards  its  new  occupant  ,  throat  clearing  softly  .  “  excuse  me  -----  ”  she  starts  ,  fingers  absentmindedly  twisting  a  stray  curl  that  had  fallen  in  front  of  her  eyes  .  “  i  was  here  earlier  and  i  seem  to  have  misplaced  my  book  .  .  .  have  you  seen  it  ?  ”  it  was  one  of  her  favorites  ,  a  worn  copy  of  the  tales  of  beedle  the  bard  ,  and  she's  rather  desperate  to  find  it  .

 ❝this  is  the  worst  night  ever!❞  hayden  roars  ,  to  no  one  in  particular.  but  let’s  be  honest  ,  she  wouldn’t  be  making  such  a  spectacle  of  herself  if  there  weren’t  at  least  a  few  people  mingling  outside  on  the  beautifully  lit  patio.  she  sits  on  the  polished  wood  railing  ,  feet  swinging  pitifully  over  the  grass.  hayden  enjoys  pity  ,  and  attention.  she  always  has.  it’s  the  motivation  for  most  of  her  behavior  ,  so  much  so  that  it  is  almost  subconscious  ,  in  that  she  actually  kind  of  feels  pretty  terrible.  she  glances  to  the  person  closest  to  her  ,  and  then  huffs  ,  turning  away  and  moving  the  veil  she’s  wearing  ,  over  her  face.

                  it was no question that MAL felt a sense of l o n e l i n e s s in her heart knowing that these kinds of event were shared with her friends. not even her favorite chocolate covered strawberries could distract her from everything. her footsteps trail away from the group of people that were gathered from the extravagant party; glancing out the window, wondering what her loved ones were doing back at home. ears are perked up as she can sense the NOISE from the other person reach closer to her, only for her to remain her focus through the glass at the night sky. ❝ what a year it’s been, huh? ❞

tenel ka djo - open starter

tenel ka swirled the orange coloured fairy floss around her finger before placing it in her mouth, a pop leaving her lips as the finger was pulled out. “i don’t have the faintest idea what this rubbish is, but it tastes like straight sugar - and as such delicious.” the red hair admitted, smiling softly at the individuals that passed by. she watched as a stranger stopped, her finger wrapping around the fairy floss. “i would offer to share, but i doubt you’d be interested in my saliva.” she joked lightly, taking another bite of her delicious treat. “have you seen anything interesting around the fair or? been busy stopping to steal peoples treats.” she joked - for the first time she felt at peace, like whatever was happening worlds away was out of her control. “i heard the mirror maze is quite the treat, if you’re interested in having a go with a complete stranger.”
