I'm sad that I came to this roleplay with high hopes that even if I were to pick up a character that isn't known to many I would still feel at home and have people to talk to but that doesn't seem to be case.. Even the admins seem to be bias and picky on who they choose to talk to or reply to which saddens me because I joined with a recommendation from a friend. I don't know if I should stay or go
Hi there. We addressed this issue in a previous announcement that you can find in the ‘Announcements’ group in the rp. But I’ll go ahead and address the issue as concise as I can here.With a population as big as ours and we admins trying to speak ALL members and tend to threads of our own that we have going on, you can only imagine how often our notifications get lost. We fall behind all the time with replies and I know Yongguk, Irene, and I work and deal with other things outside of rp on top of admin work. Again, if you think about it, no person is glued to their computer / phone screens 24/7, we all have different things going on OOC be it work, school, vacation, hanging out with friends, etc. Please be patient. We see welcomes trickle in because most people take their time to create starters that are not the generic “Hello, my name is.” They try to personalize it in a way that would generate more conversation than just 4-5 replies before it gets dropped. Although some people are selective because they are busy, we do see that they make an effort to reply to all their notifications when they have time to sit down and do it. If they do lose their threads, they do post in the OOC to let people know to like their last thread they had going with characters if that person wishes to continue or they visit the “Plotting” thread and ask people to like for a starter and so-on. Personally, I think quality interactions are more important than the amount you receive. Don’t misinterpret this and think that I am encouraging selectivity, because I’m not. Also, from speaking to other rpers, some have voiced how they are not good with random starters so they actively seek out plotting from others in our “plotting” group which was made for you. There’s always someone who is willing to talk to you out there. It may not be immediate, but please try to respect people’s time and please refrain from jumping to conclusions so quickly.If you need anything else, please do not be afraid to message myself or any of the other admins directly. It’s a lot harder to address the issue or help you if we don’t know who we are talking to. Thanks!- Admin Jisoo
