It's been years since Arthur's Death. He has stopped counting. Merlin has often changed his name to prevent people from becoming suspicious about how the man never ages. Usually Merlin will cast a spell to age himself slowly but the magic in the world has slowly been dying. Merlin knows he will die when Magic dies. But being alive so long, he has accepted it. He has had many jobs such as being a spy, being a healer/doctor- after all he wrote the books, being a Nobel (Arthur would love that one), being a cook/chef, to even being a politician. Now? Merlin is a scientist. Heading to his lab, he knows often people speak of the man who lives in a cottage in the woods by an old lake, the brilliant mind who hides. Those woods? They were Camelot. "I'm Sorry Mate." Merlin says, bumping into someone.
