Makena was getting ready to snap at Selene for bumping into her after turning a corner in the hallway, but before she could open her mouth to complain, the other girl was hugging her. She was too shocked to do anything for a moment other than stand there dumbfounded with her arms by her sides, brows furrowed before she nearly lifted her arms to hug Selene back slightly. “Uh- s’okay..?”

She should’ve known better than to take a drink from someone she didn’t know very well, but Makena was too drunk to have good enough judgement to figure that out. “Heeeey, Pizza Lady,” Kena grinned as she approached Selene with a now empty cup, to which the other girl jumped up quickly to get her a new drink, and who was Makena to say no to that? She waited patiently for Selene to return, dancing around to fill up the time until the other brunette returned with a full red cup and a twisted smile. “Thanks, Pizza Lady, you’re the best!” Makena grinned as she traded her empty glass for the full one, not hesitating to down half its contents before heading back out onto the dance floor. It wasn’t even half-way through the song when Makena started feeling stranger — her vision was darkening and there was a throbbing pain in her head that caused her to wince in agony. It was too loud for anyone to notice her suffering, but every eye in the building landed on her as she crashed onto the ground.

Umbrella: Micah was confused. He didn’t know who he had called when he said he needed to be picked up from town, but when the girl on the other end offered to help, he was not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. “Thank you so much, Selene. I can’t believe this storm came out of no where,” he said, getting in her car without question.

X: Micah bit his lip when Selene offered him the glass. “I’m not really much of a drinker,” he said sheepishly. “Alcohol tends to knock me out almost instantly, too,” he admitted. He took the cup though, not wanting to be rude. This would be a short night.
