30 Day Self Esteem Challenge - Day 16

Day sixteen: The last thing you did that made you smile.

Well, some hours ago, I was helping my mom with the cooking and I felt so good that I managed to make a very tasteful cake:D It's a nice feeling (that you helped your mom and that you succeed in something)

I can not stress this enough. Your value as a person is not and never will be measured by someone else's view of you. Your value as a person is determined by yourself and it always will be and if you let other peoples views and opinions define how you look at yourself you will never be satisfied because everyone is a critic. You just need to wake up every morning and go "wow I am cool like super cool and I'm cool because I think I'm cool not because some irrelevant human being told me so" and you scream it from roof tops and you whisper it in the night and you write it every where you scream that shit from mega phones like you haven't heard it before until you truly believe it. And you should because its true. Not my opinion, or your mothers or any boyfriend or girlfriend you could possibly have is valid when it comes to your value as a person. You are valuable on the very principal that you are a human being and you are here for a reason. Deciding you are hella cool and pretty and smart and funny and clever and talented is the best decision you can make. And thats a fact. So decide. Wake up and say "screw it. I'm perfect." and you will be.

Midnight Thoughts

Self-Esteem is not settling. Society has conditioned us, more specifically, women to stop everything for the first "nice guy" they see. But truth is, it shouldn't be like that. If you're unsure or you feel like the other person is smothering you, you have the right to be like, "hey, i need some time and space" or "hey, you're a nice guy, but I don't see this working out" without feeling like people are going to think of you as a bitch. Because that's not fair. Nice does not equal the best match and the best match may not be "nice". There is a such thing as someone being "too nice". I hope that made sense.

I went to go get my liscence today, and i passed the one test but im so stupid that i misunderstood the questions and failed it. And now i feel like a fuckin idiot, and im grumpy, and all my friends passed theirs the first try and everyone knows i failed and theyre all thinking im stupid and i cant stop crying. And my dad doesnt understand why im upset so hes being a dick... ~a

I am sure they do not think you are stupid! You know that a lot of persons do not succeed the first time. It doesn't mean they are stupid, just that you need to work on your stress. Learn from it, and you will end up better than before. Remember which questions you didn't know the right answer and work on them specifically. I am sure that if you ask around you, there are a lot of persons that have failed the first time. And you know what: I've seen A LOT of humans having they license but that should not be allowed to drive. These questions evaluate you at a certain level, but they do not make you a good driver. 

They do not think you are stupid, you are the only one who thinks that, and for no reason,trust me!

You have the right to be upset and sad, but not to think you are a failure ok? you are not.

Being a failure is not that, being a failure is giving up your soul to demons, it's hurting other human beings and only do evil. And I know you are not like that.

Take deep breaths, a bath if you can, watch a good movie and relax. There is nothing you can do to change the past, so focus on the future!
