It's deathly important that I understand the diseases of the Neath. How does Cholera spread? What sickness originates from Sorrow Spiders if you stay too long? (Other than the usual listlessness from blood loss and you know, sorrow.) Does London's sewer system still function? Fresh water probably comes from the surface rather than aquifers. What kind of aquiducts need to be built?
These are the kinds of questions that rotate in my mind daily.
It’s really impressive to me how people just write fanfics of their Fallen London (presumably played in the game) ocs. 110% of my brainpower is spent managing money, fuel, and food in Seas and I do not have extra brainpower devoted to creating a dope-ass character. Westlie only exists because I got invited to play the Skyfarer RPG and I got really into it.
