I got to go home early today. Because work was very hard and then it started icing everywhere and so we closed up early. Good. I wanted to go home. I had trouble waking up this morning. I slept really poorly. I woke up a lot And just couldn’t stay asleep and it wasn’t fun. So when my alarm went off at 630 I was pretty miserable. I kept snoozing my alarm until 7 and was going to snooze it again but I needed to eat something so I forced myself up. I got dressed and felt super cute. My makeup was perfect. I wore my sweater I had slept in because it’s very warm. I packed my lunch, which was my leftover chipolte and I was very excited to eat that. And I made waffles for breakfast. My belly hurt a lot today and even trying to eat those waffles was hard. But then it was time to go. I went and got my bus, which was a little late, and then it was late getting me to work because there were a bunch of water main breaks from the cold so we had to go around blocks. But I was only a couple minutes late and no one cares. Me and Mike were going to a restaurant that had burned down. But they wanted me to drive the big truck and I really didn’t feel comfortable so we talked and worked it out that Norm would take us and just drop us off. So off we went. We got to fells point around 930 and the owner let us in. It was a really awesome bar him and his wife bought 15 years ago. They lived upstairs. And there had been a fire. They had a ton of art and it took us about 4 hours to inventory. But we had a great system going, and me and Mike work really well as a team. We started in the woman’s restroom, which was back by the kitchen, and moved towards the front of the place. It was a lot of work, me on the iPad and Mike packing. But it was consistent and we did a good job. But we both wanted to get out of there. I called Steven in the shop and he sent someone for us. And so we chilled and cleaned up. And then Jason was there with the very large truck. We got all the art in the truck just as the icy rain and hail started. But we still had a huge fish to get in the truck. And like it was very fragile and we had to jerryrig it to the wall. That took like a half hour. But eventually we were done and off to the shop again. Except Jason has only driven the big truck a few times and was nervous and the gps kept trying to send us under overpasses we couldn’t fit in. And Steven called again and I like screech laughing because Jason is trying to fit our 13 foot 1 inch truck under a 13 foot 3 inch underpass. Thankfully we found a differnt way and got back to the shop around 230. I was starving but we started unpacking the art. Laura wanted to leave at 3 so we got as much done as we could before she left. I went and heated up my food and it was just as good as I hoped. And I ate while I worked on the estimes for the job. And me and Mike decided that we would leave at 330 because it was a hella long day and the icy rain was getting bad and we didn’t want to get stuck. So off we went. My bus was just down the street as I got out to my stop so I didn’t have to wait which was nice. I wanted to stop and get quarters from the bank since I was actually around when they were open for once. But they had closed for the weather as well. But I really needed to do laundry. I was able to scrounge up enough quarters to do a overpacked load of clothes. Not everything but enough. While they were washing I chilled in bed with Sweetp. Once they went on the dryer I went and worked on my diorama for the week. I’m very pleased with this one. I did make a mistake in it that Jess caught so that was good. Teamwork. Once my clothes went in their second dryer cycle I make Mac and cheese. Came out perfect. I watched some stand up specials on Netflix. I went and got my clothes. I put everything away. I played with Sweetp for a while. I took a bath. Sweetp was in the room with me and was being a nudge and almost broke my fancy face serum but didn’t so I forgive him. And now I’m just laying in bed Listening to the finale for the adventure zone and I’m just crying a bit. This is why I couldn’t listen to them at work. Sweetp is being very silly and keeps closing my bedroom door and them crying until I get up and open the door again. And now he’s laying on me and seems very comfy. Needy baby. Today was very good but I am very tired and every time I cough it makes my head hurt. So I’m going to go to bed now. Work all day tomorrow. Art making. Its supposed to warm up a bit this week. Hopefully it warms up my apartment too. Goodnight everyone. Sleep well.
