They met as kids! Kat and her family moved to Galar from Hoenn and she wasn’t happy about it, so she tried running away in an attempt to get back home to Hoenn. She got lost in the Slumbering Weald though. But as it just so happens, Leon was also lost as he often is, and ran into her. After she cried about her situation, he offered to try to help her get out and they became friends from then on! It would take quite a few years for either of them to realize they had feelings for each other though.

I was actually introduced to Piers by Raihan while I was visiting the Galar region. It was kinda love at first sight, he immediately started crushing on me and I kept trying to deny my crush on him so it took a while for me to come to terms with it ^w^
