Before Indonesia was named, "Indonesia." She was named with Nusantara (in translation which will be mean as "Archipelago." She was still name Nusantara even if the Netherlands adopted her and name her as Dutch East Indies.
For Indonesians, The Nusantara era (colonial times) and Indonesia (recent times) people are very different even though they are the same person.
//Also, Japan calls her "Nusantara-san" since the Japanese colonial empire, So this will remind her that she is no longer in the dutch's hand.
