Frankfurt hat einen neuen Selfie-Point oder -Spot oder so. Nach meiner Erfahrung haben an dieser Stelle schon bislang genügend Menschen Photos gemacht. Ich glaube nicht, dass nun Heerscharen neuer Besucher due Stadt fluten werden, um hier ein Bild zu machen. Aber der Punkt ist so ausgerichtet, dass wer ihn genau von vorne photographiert die Paulskirche mit aufs Bild bekommt. Das ist allerdings in moderner Zeit kaum überzubewerten. Die Paulskirche gilt als Wiege der deutschen Demokratie. Ihr Bild zu verbreiten ist in Zeiten wie diesen ein Signal an die Undemokraten dieser Zeit.

Frankfurt has a new selfie point or spot or something. In my experience, enough people have already taken photos at this point. I don't think that hordes of new visitors will flood the city to take a picture here. But the point is positioned in such a way that if you photograph it from the front, you will get the Paulskirche in the picture. However, in modern times, this can hardly be overestimated. The Paulskirche is considered the cradle of German democracy. Spreading its image in times like these is a signal to the anti-democrats of our time.
