I wanna draw these lil bastards more
"You can call me selfish cause most of the things I do, are for myself."
- By liking this post it makes you selfish too.
Update on Selfish Love, if anyone is interested of course,
I will be doing my damndest to get a chapter out asap. I’m gonna push through the loss of motivation and get it done. Please look forward to it and reblog or leave comments when I release if you could. Stuff like that REALLY helps writers to create content for you and it lets us know you want more or love the creation.
Anyway, soon.

the difference between linton and heathcliff is that linton is content with walking to catherine's grave and heathcliff has to dig her up.
Some Sunday From Now
I imagine us on the phone,
Or maybe under the same blanket.
I wish for us to be close
When it happens,
Even if that does not mean proximity.
Some Sunday afternoon,
Far from now,
I hope to finally
Spill my guts to you
And not have to clean them up.
I picture
Violently writing my confession to you
In my blood
On our kitchen floor,
Or into a letter I’ll bravely hand deliver
With chocolates
Or whatever your favorite dessert is that month.
I’ll finally let you in
Whether you hold my heart or not.
Truth be told,
I’ve only kept it in place
By tangling myself up—
Landlines, sticky notes,
And leftover embroidery thread
From projects we bought
For a rainy Sunday afternoon
So long ago.
Some Sunday from now,
Will you sit with me again
And hear me right
When I tear the words from my cowardice?
When I rip them from my throat?
I love you.
I always loved you.
I said I was just a broken thing
And never felt things right,
But it’s okay,
Because I loved you on sight.
You don’t even have to stitch me up:
I love you.
You don’t have to write me back:
I love you.
You don’t have to bring me gifts
Or cotton
Or glass:
I love you.
Even if it makes a mess of me,
Like pulling the dandelion from the sidewalk,
I love you.
Some Sunday when I am stronger than I am now,
Let me be cradled in admonition,
Let me confess this to you:
I love you.
You don’t even have to fix me up over it;
I’m used to it by now.
It would just be nice to tell you
So I can learn to keep it together.
On some selfish Sunday,
Be my priestess and not my doctor;
I will pour myself out
And you don’t even have to sip:
I love you.
I have always loved you.
It may be the one good thing I did.

for old times' sake :')
You can’t make someone love you. You can wait and wait, hoping they will fall for you. You can spend all of your time trying to impress them by romantic quotes. But in the end, you have no say over what they send back. You can search for clues by piecing together all of the half-smiles they’ve flashed at you, and the late night texts they’ve sent you, but you can’t magically make them have meaning. You can romanticize the conversations you’ve had. You can defend the times they’ve stood you up. You can defend the fact that you always have to make the plans or start the conversations. You can hope, you can pray, you can keep wishing that they will fall for you. You can tell them that you love them. You can offer them all that you have. You can show them how you will love them.
You can love them and love them and love them, but still, you can’t make them love you back.
That’s the hardest part about love…you can choose who to love, but you can’t choose who will love you. You can choose who to devote your heart to, but you can’t make someone devote their heart to you. And you can choose to keep waiting, and keep hoping that someday they will fall for you, that someday maybe they will be your knight in shining armor or the woman of your dream afterall. You can keep your fingers crossed and your heart on edge hoping that someday, maybe they will realize that they do love you after all.
