hi, i'm thinking of self-medicating (my friend offered to buy my t from an invite-only website that bulk-sells drugs, medical ones included). do u have any advice on how to do this properly & can i still get treatment from nhs (primarily doing this cus i cant afford private)
We do not recommend self medication especially when purchasing online. This is not safe and you risk complications with incorrect dosage and not knowing if you are even buying T.
When it comes to the NHS, no GP or GIC will be happy to hear that you have been self medicating. So you will also run into issues once you finally are offered T which is medically safe and under the correct supervision. T must be prescribed under the supervision of a medical professional and your bloods need to be checked regularly.
You also have to think about the fact that if you run into complications and go to see your GP they will tell you to stop self medicating, they won’t offer to give you T to help you. So you could end up having to stop T, which will then cause further complications for your hormone levels.
It really is not worth taking this risk. It really is up to you what you do, but we cannot provide you with any recommendations for self medicating.
