omg hihihihihi!!!! so glad to see one of these, I love them!!! ^^ if you’re open to it, I’d like to request a romantic letter from trafalgar law from one piece. although, the relationship is mixed as we’re engaged, best friends, and the captain of a pirate crew (law) and his righthand woman (nerina/me). law is grumpy, nerdy, intimidating at first, likes cute things, and stoic, while nerina is sweet, cute, unintentionally too honest and blunt, a bit big-headed/a perfectionist, and has a hard time understanding social norms, but law assists her since he’s quite perceptive. for more info, i have lots of stuff on my blog about nerina and lawneri, but you can always also ask me if you need to know anything!!!!!!! thank you so much, take your time!

I find, in my many observations of you over the course of the weeks, that you tend to be forgetful in that sense. I can never understand why; I think if I were to be as beautiful, I would never forget such a thing.

Your Pokedex keeps playing a sort of gloomy tune, as if alerting you to something. When you open it, you find a Pokemon just roaming around the interface, giving you a smile and a small playful hop of greeting. It's the mail delivery kitten Strawberry, except it's a Skitty at the moment, who knew it could transform! Your Pokedex glitches and Strawberry disappears, a message appearing in its place. Don't worry, it's okay, it just teleported back to the post office! The message is a bit glitchy itself, but thankfully still readable.

I couldn't help but notice you cleaned up the house. It's been so long since I've seen it this way, it almost feels full of life again. I almost feel full of life again.

Fine, do you want me to state the obvious? Shit was really lonely before you showed up, Cloves. I had Miki of course, but not anyone to really talk to about what happened. I was glad to have Miki back, but the state she was in, the state we were both in, served as a constant reminder.

I kept thinking that if I'd just never done that trade then maybe…but there was no going back, leaving me trapped in a constant loop of regrets. My own personal Hell.

My point is that it's been two years since then and I still think about it, less so now that you're around.

Most people that bump into me are scared of me but you weren't, for whatever reason. You're kind of weird like that, but I guess urban exploring gives you a tough skin. I lost so much when Miki died originally, and that just continued after I lost Mike. I'd completely given up, I'd completely lost myself, and then I met you.

You never judged me for any of it, you just understood. I don't think you ever realized how much I needed that, to tell my story to someone who wouldn't see me as a monster. You showed me there was a reason to keep living, a way past the pain. I don't say this often but…

A distinct feeling of being watched fills the still air as a letter drops from behind an old folder of papers. It was sealed very neatly, but it still retained grime on the corner of the paper, where it had been handled.]

I hope this letter reaches you alright. I found a quaint little forest with a little mailbox, so I thought I'd send a letter to you! Isn't that romantic? I think it's adorable. I can't even believe that I'm writing this. In my mind, I still believe you to be simply awful. And yet, I put my most expensive lace on a letter that I hope in the back of my mind that you will keep forever. Isn't is strange, how love does that to somebody?
