Haven Johnson | 23 years old | Works at fashion magazine | OPEN
Haven was born into crazy. Her parents were hippies in the 70’s and even still now a little bit. They met in a time when love was something to be shared and accepted no matter what color, race, religion or sex the other person was. They raised Haven to believe the same things. Her parents were young when they got married and always expected Haven to follow in their footsteps. But that doesn’t seem to be the direction in which Haven’s life is going. She was always an easy child. She was never very fussy and sweet. Growing up as an only child she was spoiled, her mother finding out about her inability to have any more children after a miscarriage when Haven was 3. As she got older she started to rebel in small ways. She started staying out past curfew, protesting, and breaking dress code at school. Her parents were clearly disappointed in her choices but they also accepted her for who she was and her beliefs. They couldn’t exactly yell at her for making similar decisions to the ones they had made when they were her age.
Haven’s a very stubborn and independent girl. She knows what she believes in and she sticks to it. She’s very active in animal rights and anti-bullying organizations. She’s fearless and nothing seems to ever really bother her. She’s protective of the people she cares about and even strangers if they’re in trouble. She’s always believed in the freedom of speech and had a love for fashion. This is something she did not inherit from her bell bottom wearing parents who had a love of tye die t shirts. After she graduated High School she was immediately hired by a local fashion magazine. She was given her own column right off the bat. Her publisher had been very impressed by her actions previously in fashion. Her column was such a hit that she scooped up by a bigger magazine and made into an international fashion icon. However, she prefers to remain anonymous in her fashion career so it doesn’t interfere with her activism.
Haven started dreaming of the strange man when she was 19 years old. She used to just brush them off as something normal but recently things have changed. When she was 19 she could brush them off as the hormonal craziness of a teenage girl. But now at the age of 23 she was smart enough to know that there was more to it than what she thought. Dreaming of the same person for 4 years almost nightly wasn’t normal. She’d read all the books and the only thing they had been able to tell her was that it wasn’t normal. She wasn’t normal. Her dreams were most certainly not normal. Deciding to follow the path her dreams left for her strictly to find the answers to all her questions and not to meet this charming, handsome man.
