         haven was the last she’s heard of him. with such a humiliating defeat, who could blame adam taurus from disappearing, running off with his tail between his legs, never to be heard from again. but truthfully, neo wasn’t the slightest concerned with him or his whereabouts -- in fact, she only had one goal, one mission and she’d do anything to fulfill it. 

         so to run into him now -- two barely acquaintances, one who still most likely hated the other due to what her race has done to him -- neo can’t say she’s all that relieved, even sighing with annoyance. but perhaps if it was the belladonna girl he was after, the former white fang leader could prove himself useful. with a brow raised, gaze meeting a blindfold in replace of his usual mask, neo immediately turns to her scroll.

                    the negotiations for the general’s seat on the council weren’t going excellent. from the constant accusations to the almost stifling atmosphere of the room, a small break was requested by all parties. clover quickly shuffled outside, finding none other than qrow branwen. “not too much for parties, i take it?” he comments, a lighthearted tone on his voice as he tries to ease his own worries. “mind if i join you? things aren’t going too well in there.” he doesn’t have much time before he goes back, but it should be enough to survey the area and chat with the other.
