please feel free to start posting your intros and please remember to welcome each other! whether you’re getting plots started, introducing yourself or just a simple welcome message please make sure to reach out to one another so that everyone feels welcomed. 

as all of you have proven in your apps, you’re all aware of that our guidelines state, intros should go up within the next 72 hours. seeing as there have been some applicants waiting for the grand opening since our soft opening, we will allow an extension of an extra day for anyone who hasn’t logged into their account within the past two days so that they have time to catch up!

additionally, we are currently running traditional acceptances on sundays, however with the roleplay’s grand opening today, we will be acting with a rolling acceptances system through the end of the week for anyone lurking that’s interested in joining or anyone who missed out on being part of our first batch of acceptances!

as you all get settled, we do have our first event prepared to be released! we’d like to take this opportunity to ask that you guys reply with your preferences below if you’d like the event to be opened this friday, sunday, later next week, or before this friday even if you’re all eager for it! we will also note that with this event, we hoped to make it easier to integrate into regular threads so it doesn’t seem like additional threads on the side, while still being able to affect your muses day to day life and schedules!

lastly, although not officially listed in our navigation pages just yet, we want to make sure that you all go ahead and follow @thebashapp. this sideblog will have two functions, it’s main function serving as our event blog and secondly as a tool to encourage muse interaction whether for fun or for development! additional information on this blog’s use will be made available soon after acceptances.

I definitely understand where you’re coming from, anon! Joining any established group can be a bit daunting and overwhelming because there are a lot of characters and therefore plots, but as admins, we would be more than happy to bring you up to speed on what you’ve missed and even make a private group chat to lay things out to you if necessary. All of our members are incredibly helpful and friendly as well, and I’m positive that they would be willing to answer any questions that you have about their characters or even the group in general. While a lot of our plotting does happen in the Discord server, you’re not required to talk in there at all if you feel uncomfortable in group chats, and we have a lot of members who love to plot in DMs.

Just in case you were wondering about the IC side of things, this roleplay does have a plot that is centered around war, so sometimes it gets pushed to dark places, and that’s absolutely worth keeping in mind if you struggle with plots that have intensive aspects. That being said, we do everything possible to keep this roleplay a safe space for our members and have a comprehensive trigger list in our Discord server. And as a group, we’re interested in the effects and happenings of war, not gratuitous or explicit displays of violence, so we can promise you that we’re very careful to avoid triggering each other even if our plot can get dark at times.
