a little while ago me and some friends were talking about a lil Wendigo Hannibal creature AU where Hannibal is a 'wendigo' and this is his true form though he can appear human and usually does.

here's the notes from the chat we had about it and i'll be turning it into a smutty lil story as part of the 30 Days of Tropes challenge!

His design features lil back feathers interspersed in parts of his fur and the base of his antlers, red eyes, sharp long fangs, clawed hands with blackened skin, his hooves are SHARP like if he kicked you you'd be disembowelled probably

with sharp teeth, maybe his form shifts to a fawn/stag style look-ish and thats his true from but he also can look human

and he has heats

Will catches him by surprise when he's on the edge of a heat,

maybe that scene where he turns up at hanni's place after kissing alana and Hanni can smell the arousal still clinging to will, and he just loses it at hearing will, who he considers HIS mate, saying he kissed alana

and he just launches himself over the counter, transforming to his wendigo form as he does and just pins Will down and ravishes him, claims him

maybe he was kind of hoping to get some kind of reaction out of Hannibal in the first place by telling him, make him jealous

as the click of Hanni's hooves hitting the floor sounds in the kitchen, it snaps Will out of his shock and he tries to bolt, turning towards the door, but Hanni is on him.
