NEW LOC ROUTINE

Trying a new loc routine loosely based on Yannie the Locologist.

Clarifying shampoo every 3 weeks

Oil scalp with JBCO (added peppermint oil)

Spritz hair with rosewater and vitamin E oil mix as much as needed.

Massage scalp often

Make sure hair fully dries.

Wrap hair alot to protect from the elements.

GOALS

Let my edges grooooowwww!

Keep my hair thick and my locs thicker.

Get rid of buildup

Minimize the amount of lint my hair tracks.

I'm gonna track for 3 months and see what's up.

Like I said in my “Dreadlocks Journey” playlist on Youtube. 😅 I started with two strand twists. Chunky or fluffy. During my second week, I still treated my hair like normal natural hair in kinky twists. ☺️☺️☺️ ✅Routine: I’ll moisturize and try to keep hair away from my face lol. I used water and oiled my scalp once a week. I didn’t add a lot of products because I’ve never being a product junkie and I rarely use edge control too. ✅Changes: my hair didn’t show any visible change except for the frizz which I’ve always experienced with my 4c natural hair. I’ll post updates here and there and comparison between them.
