Ik it’s not that deep. It’s just that at least in my opinion, that’s genuinely the most romantic shit I’ve ever seen between two same-gender characters in a kids show that aren’t in a canon romantic relationship.

I feel like Ogong was way closer to Semo in early seasons, wasn’t he?

Sure, s04 ending highlighted Duri and Ogong becoming friends because they were straight up enemies prior to that.

But Semo was always by Ogong’s side, and always the first to come to him when he needs help. Semo was genuinely very loyal to Ogong. Like, I know I point it out a lot that Semo defended Ogong so much in s04, but it’s true!

But then... probably only around s15 did Duri suddenly show up for him when he was down and suddenly they were the bestfriends and the duo and Ogong’s relationship with Semo was pushed to the side.

It really makes me sad

Ogong is the most insufferable guy ever about his boyfriend. “Semo is so pretty” “Semo is so smart” “Oh that reminds me of what Semo did the other day” “Oh I should get that thing for Semo”

The Dokgos adore Semo but also they really already know everything they need to know about him. All they can say is “That’s great”. Like, they genuinely have nothing more to say.

I need Ogong to radiate middle school boyfriend/honeymoon phase energy CONSTANTLY.

He randomly starts singing love songs to Semo when they’re together. He’s terribly off and missing several notes. He’s unironically singing things like “Replay” loudly. Semo loves him so much.

Everyone thought Semo would be normal or be the cold one in his relationship.

This is, of course, horribly Wrong.

He has no idea how to properly say “I love you” without getting awkward and he’ll freeze up if Ogong touches him without warning, but you better believe he has some other love language that is very obvious.

He is bringing Ogong random gifts like a cat brings its "catches" to its owner.

They find time to meet up and Ogong arrives to Semo holding flowers and... a whole ass vase?? “It’s green and red. Reminded me of us.”

Ogong decides not to question how much it was or where Semo even got it. Just freaked the heck out and that vase now sits in his bedroom and he cleans it everyday because THAT IS HIS BOYFRIEND’S LOVE FOR HIM dammit.

Ogong holding Semo really tightly when they’re snuggling up in bed because Semo is usually rather touch-repulsed. Semo really liking the affection because it makes him feel wanted and important

Semo and Ogong most of the time waking up before their alarm but deciding to stay in bed until it goes off because they wanna be by eachother’s side a little longer, especially if it’s a Monday and they didn’t get to do much on the previous weekend for whatever reason

Semo trying to cook and actually doing decently because Ogong helps him with the timing and the measurements

Semo doing something mundane like washing the dishes. Clingy Ogong getting home and immediately going up to him, putting arms around his waist. Because Ogong missed his husband so much.

Sick Semo wanting to go and take care of chores and like, do some of his freelance work and stuff but Ogong insists he stay in bed and get better quickly.

Okay so there’s this Twitter artist I follow and like. They post a lot of romantic stuff about Semo and Dingyo I guess

But they also have a lot of fanart with Ogong and Semo as a duo. And I genuinely cannot tell if they ship GongSem...??

And also it just reminds me of the actual show (DingSem/SemDing is very heavily canonically implied but also the parallels between Semo and Ogong are genuinely too much to ignore or actually pass off as a coincidence...)
