【KagePro】 Sen's -in a day's- Scans (WIP)
Gah I tried with Ene's rn…
Blurry scan over the parts nearest to the book binding, on the pages that are not on the side of the cover 😔
Lemme see what I can do about this
Everything on the right side of the book turns out fine, like Kido's page
It's definitely bothersome cuz Mary and Ene's pages are on the same side as Seto's too
I'll have trouble scanning theirs cuz of this
Though I also find it strange why I'm having more issues scanning this booklet than .dsd/V
Ironically .dsd/V was easier to scan.
Ig it's cuz the Book Binding made it easier to put the pages down flat
Despite .dsd/V being much bigger.
Like the blur on my .dsd/V scans was only where the book binding was (and it was much smaller)
There IS the risky option to only put 1 page down, close the scanner lid, and then prop the book up with boxes. Really risky though
Ig another option would be to put only 1 page down, then put something like a sheet of glass over the book (so that the pages don't get smudged by a box resting on it or something)
Lemme try closing the scanner lid (so it isn't completely closed) on the book itself. It should be heavy enough to weigh it down
Ok this last option I tried is actually better???
The Mary scan came out much better! I need to try again with the Ene one eventually
I'm honestly really confused on the scanning inconsistency. The shadow still shows more in Ene's page… Ig it's cuz the part near the book binding needs to get flattened enough?
Even though I put it down the same way for the recent Mary and Ene ones
Trial and Error with my scanner scanning at turtle speed (2.5 - 3 minutes per page…) 🐢
It's also cuz I'm scanning at 600 DPI so the whole scanner is 5000 x 6500 px
Though the size of 1 booklet page is 3200 x 4600 px
