It slipped out before she had the chance to think of something more poignant or romantic. So she just stood there, nervously waiting for his reaction.

Should she have waited? It’d been less than a day since Geonosis, maybe they needed time... No, there was no time anymore. They were at war. Any day could be their last. She didn’t want to lose another second.

“Be glad I was the one who got in here first, then,” she said, trying to suppress a giggle at her husband’s disheveled and very naked appearance. “Captain Typho probably would have shot you on sight, and then where would we be?”

Quickly, she undid the cloak around her shoulders and held it out to him. “Use that until you can get your own clothes back on, love.”
