I spend hours looking in to the vast empty black of my room before i sleep ,trace outlines of your hands in mine try and illusions of your knees sinking in the edge of my mattress ,your feet agents my legs your hair on my white sheet leaving little evidence of long nights short laughs every hair a single every well picked strain just another reminder of the memory of you collapsing in my brain . Yet I hold on to these strings of you down to the root like a child to his mother ,like a dieing man to a lover , I hold these hairs these dead cells of you ,caus at one point for some time you carried them along on that head of yours with so many others just same to do basic things wash a plate or spill some water maybe take a bath with all these candles around her for an instance of time these hairs were part of you parts you left behind here on these pale white sheets of mine . -OTD.
