Hello! Welcome!

This is the official blog for Johto's National Park, where everyone is welcome*!

Even if you're just passing by to get to the Pokéathlon Dome, we are happy to see you!

Make sure to stop by every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday to participate in our Bug Catching Contests! Everyone's a winner, because everyone gets to take home a new friend! Now for some introductions of the people who use this account most!:

I am Firn [she/him], the social media manager! You might also see me and my darling Oddish around the park! We don't accept battles, but I'd love to offer you some Miracle Seeds 💚

I am Sencti [he/them]. I am one of the administers who watch over and manage the bug catching contests. I will be the one in charge of answering questions regarding bugs.

Feel free to send an ask if you'd like one of our no-capt-pokeball-accessories [name likely to change] and we'll get one to you right away! It, unfortunately, may take a little bit because they are custom made per order.

Another Pokemon IRL blog to throw into the fray! I was inspired by @amityparkofficial and @hearthome-habitant to set up this blog!

I will try to post at least once a day, usually under the "Daily Life" tag

I use any pronouns, and sometimes take hiatuses (especially if there's low activity haha) If you need me for anything, send a message to @angeloshadows

Please try not to include me in any high-stakes events..! This is just me taking it easy and having fun~ But lower stake things are more than welcomed!

Hello, gym leader Bugsy! Yes -- we're somewhat new, but I took initiative because I felt that we could use a little bit more PR!

He might never say it, but you're Sencti's favorite -- When I told him you messaged us, he was ecstatic~

Firn heard a commotion in the forest earlier today and went to investigate. He ended up finding this little guy stuck on the ground with a clutch of eggs, so we relocated all of them somewhere safer.

you have a few pinsir at that park, yeah?

would you know the best strategies to befriend one? as in, make it like you. or just... not dislike you.

I was asked to write this response as I am the 'expert' in bugs, as Firn put it.

We do provide homes for pinsir, as well as allowing participants in the bug catching contests to catch them.

Some of the best strategies to befriend a pinsir include, but are not limited to, offering it something to eat (Most Pinsir like fruits or honey), winning it over in battle (Pinsir can be very competitive), and of course, being patient and letting it come to you, rather than trying to chase it down.
