Sigh.... started playing dress-up in my modded XV2 and i think i like this guy and wanna make him an oc..... i might tweak him a little more and make his spikes yellow (and i'll probably draw him with spots) but.. yeah.. hmmm

I like the idea of him being another android. I was considering making him a failed/scrapped Cell prototype made by Gero, but tbh i kind of also like the idea of him being a Hedo creation, having been inspired by his dissatisfaction with Cell Max and wanting to make an original design

In my XV2 game this guy is a Frieza Race, so I named him Firn to keep in line with the cold/snow/ice naming convention (and also i like that it sounded like "fern" since he's a green bug lol). But im also considering calling him Mito (maybe Dria?) like "mitochondria" as a joke to his relation to Cell lmao

Another Pokemon IRL blog to throw into the fray! I was inspired by @amityparkofficial and @hearthome-habitant to set up this blog!

CHARACTER INTRO: FIRN

lets get back into it. up next: Firn!

Name: Firn Snowfletcher

Pronouns: he/him

Age: Late 40s

Species: Legiana

Firn is Star-shine's very mysterious, very stoic, and very protective father. As a Legiana, he's considered "royalty" of the Highlands which gives him a very high status - not that he uses this to any advantage, considering that he's decided to live isolated from the rest of his kind. Elegant, wise, and refined in his movements and character, he's not one to be taken lightly. Both his tall stature and resting face of displeasure make him appear rather cold (no pun intended) which is only supported by his reserved nature and habit of not speaking unless he needs to. Despite this, Firn has a very large heart and is very empathetic, loving and doting on his child. He tends to be a bit of a helicopter parent due to his protective nature, but really means the best.

While investigating an intruder that'd been terrorizing his locale of the Highlands, Firn chased away a rogue Odogaron, which led him to adopting the newly-made Tzitzi-Ya-Ku orphan it'd left behind. Firn has spent the rest of his life building a home for the two of them at the top of the Highlands, his child's safety being his top priority. While he understands Star-shine's young curiosity and want to explore, he refuses to let her out of his sight. Firn still hasn't told Star-shine why he's so insistant he stay under his roof - which isn't surprising, since he keeps most information about his life before finding her a secret.

Assorted Adventurer Plates

I've been gradually working on creating portraits and adventurer plates for my characters as it occurs to me to do so.

It's really fun to figure out what to put in the background for the screenshots. I've been gradually refining my methods, and I think I'm starting to get the hang of it, but a lot of times I end up missing one or more details, lol

Further musings and an update of what's up with me lately under the cut:

As you might be able to tell, some of these (Danyell, Zedyr) were created during the beta phase, so I should probably revisit them at some point (and I just realized that Maayan's has the wrong class/job listed, whoops!)

Unfortunately, Danyell, Firn, and Maparhi are not available right now because I am currently on the basic subscription, so I only have access to my Balmung alts (including Silver Sage, who is probably-temporarily over on Sagittarius on the Chaos EU DC) and Strammund on Mateus.

I've been playing FFXIV more actively in the past couple months, mainly sticking to (very) relaxed MSQ progression on my alts who were still in ARR, and now doing some crafting/gathering (procrastinating on MSQ, lol). However, I'm not sure if I'm "back" for real yet. I'm still in the same health situation that led me to take a two-year break from the game (god, I can't believe it was that long, what is time?), and so far I'm not feeling up to committing to RP storylines or anything where others would need to be able to count on me being present and focused. Maybe this will be another flash in the pan like when I created Firn last year and I'll have to stop playing again, or maybe I will be able to stick around in some capacity; as it stands now, I can't fully tell.
