u can tell people almost always don’t mean it when they say “he’s a woman to me” abt a character bc they’re still calling the character “he.” like obviously women can use he/him if they want but there’s almost no chance that they’re actually headcanoning the character as a pronoun-nonconforming woman, they just want to talk abt their cis man character when the post or whatever is about women. that or they’re calling the character a woman at his expense bc they subconsciously see femininity as demeaning
