A great reminder for me. Sometimes when reading the scriptures, I have the dire urge to physically put it in my mouth, eat it and have it become a part of me. I feel like I want to taste it like I can taste a piece of fruit. I’ve however found that simply spending time to meditate on the scriptures and speaking them with faith in my heart over my life has the same effect and gives the same results. I love the word of God, it’s full of answers and it’s so satisfying even more than food.
