No.3 hihi
absolutely fascinated by the thought of them as 21st C humans!!
Rewatching bucchigiri. “I wanted to die by your hand”
basalt and kyanite
ep 11 recontextualizing my thoughts about some older senya & ichiya stuff--
ichiya felt compelled to defeat senya in a true fight, and senya never knew why.
but ichiya spells out a reason to matakara.
the black smoke monster is matakara's weakness. he can be reborn as a honki person and freed from the monster, if he pursues true strength. and pursuing true strength means beating everyone. including his friend. friends are for the weak.
ichiya needed to defeat senya to pursue true strength, and he was never able to, because winning didn't count if senya was pulling his punches. if he was going easier on ichiya, because ichiya was his friend--in ichiya's eyes, being weak. the same weakness ichiya was trying to stamp out in himself by defeating senya?
and this scene transition stuck with me--
ichiya was devoured first.
He meant absolutely everything to me. But then...
how did they go from this
to this.
So I’ve been practicing different art styles that I liked and decided to issue the challenge of trying out my personal favorite arts art styles.
The characters:
Hironori Senichi - purple haired, sassy looking boi
Shoda Nozaki- Cool ass bodyguard - Belonging to a friend on Amino
So I guess this week I practiced the style of http://kjech.deviantart.com/ - (please go check out their work.)
