How indeed did lily evans end up fucking barty crouch sr of all people?

• In my head, theyre just a phase, a mindless little hookup. Well.. maybe a bit more than that

• lily is aspiring to be a politician and she has to jump through a bunch of hoops to get where she wants to be.

• then enters barty crouch jr. Yes, Jr. Lily is smart, she could easily study her way to the top and become a great lawyer. But, shes an aspiring lawyer. You've gotta be kinda manipulative and crooked to want to be one of them. So shes not above lying and cheating and fucking the son of the head of the law firm she wants to get into just to get a connection. And good for her too🙂‍↕️

• But what's better than fucking the son of the head of firm? Yes, why make more work for herself when she could just go straight to the source? Barty Jr is just a means to an end why should she waste her time? Shes not above begging and hey, maybe she likes it a bit. Fucking barty crouch sr is her only option really.

• And it worked! Barty Jr? Whos barty Jr? For the next couple of months barty sr is all lily thinks about. And yeah, she is using him but its a nice reprieve from everything else. Senior is a gentleman...more or less.

• lily is such a perfectionist in need of validation and barty sr is a little too good at praising her at her job. What can you do really?

• Barty would connect her to people and she rose to the top with her wit and her body and in the end shes exactly where she wants to be. And she doesnt need sr anymore so she leaves him in the dust. And he'll admit hes even a little proud she used him. Thats what it takes to be a good lawyer after all.

OMG ROSENIOR MY LOVE (I was going to save this for Thirsday, but I have no self-control, so... early Thirsday post, I guess?)

Ok, so @forced-conforming said something about BCS owning a law firm and Evan working there to learn a thing or two (*wink wink*), and I'm OBSESSED WITH THAT IDEA, so I'm just running with it and basing the post on it

I think it would happen when Barty and Evan were dating and Evan realizes he's got a HUGE crush on Senior. Like, he's so pathetically down bad, and he just can't hide it.

Evan would TOTALLY fantasize about Senior when in bed with Barty

I think at first, Senior wouldn't necessarily realize that Evan's flirting with him because this is his loser son's boyfriend, so he really doesn't pay much attention

Senior likes Evan's work ethic and that he's not afraid to step on some toes to get what he wants, so that's what actually draws him in.

The first time they kiss would be on a night when they're working late on some case, and it would be just a heat-of-the-moment thing. They make out on Senior's desk, and Evan goes back home to Barty, and Senior goes back home to Lily (yes, in this universe, Bartylily happened, and now Barty has to deal with his ex-girlfriend now being his father's third wife and his stepmom). They don't talk about it for a few days, but it's all Evan can think about.

After that, they just somehow keep finding themselves alone together: in the office, in the elevator, in the breakroom, in the bathroom, etc. Evan wants to talk about the kiss so badly because no one (not even Barty) ever made him feel like that, so one day, he decides enough is enough and puts on the emergency stop in the elevator.

Very little conversation actually happens, and the next thing he knows, Evan's on his knees with Senior's dick in his mouth. Oh, but Senior is a dirty man, and he's not satisfied just having his little intern on his knees; he needs him pressed against the wall so he can undo him properly.

Yeah, so they have a nice little fuck in the elevator and from that moment on, they can't keep their hands off each other...

Again, this is all happening while both men are in relationships. How are they getting caught, you may ask? Well...

It's some holiday (maybe Christmas), and Senior hosts the company holiday party every year. Barty and Evan go because why wouldn't they? They go over a little early to help Senior and Lily get everything ready, and while Barty and Lily are in the kitchen getting the food ready, Senior and Evan sneak off under the pretense of needing to work out a few things for a case.

They end up in Senior's office and things get hot and heavy... A little while goes by, and Barty and Lily are beginning to wonder what's taking them so long because it's Christmas, after all. What case could possibly be more important than spending time with family?

The two go upstairs and find Senior's office unlocked, and when they go inside, Senior's got Evan bent over his desk.

Now things are awkward. Lily just found out her husband is cheating on her with her stepson/ex-boyfriend's boyfriend, and Barty just found out his boyfriend is cheating on him with his dad. The rest of the law firm is set to arrive any minute now, so they can't exactly discuss this right now, so they just have to go through the rest of the night and pretend like everything's fine.

Ultimately, Seniorlily gets divorced, Rosekiller breaks up, and Rosenior... well, they're not about to end their arrangement just because their relationships are ruined...

Wait, do I develop this into a one shot???? I think I have to...

first of all I'm giggling that this ask came anon, don't be shy babe, this is a safe space to be intrigued by older men. you've successfully reached one branch of the freak central headquarter

second of all, I have to say that my head canons and everything else concerning BCS is fully detached from the wizarding world, I don't really care how it may fit into canon.

so, NOW TO THE ACTUAL TOPIC (yes I'm 100% still riding the Christoph Waltz BCS train, with stach or without, he's perfect)

look uhm, I was chill at work and @forced-conforming texted me "I've spent too much time simping about BCS today" and I was ready to answer "really? bcs?🤨". But then I saw their moodboard and I wasn't even back home from work and I already had like a thousand words in my notes app (I'm cooked)

I really just needed a victim and Lily fits too well for me, because it kinda solves all of my problems? I love bartylily but I can never really let rosekiller go, like I have a bartylily age gap wip (other way around) where I made them poly just so Evan and Barty can still be a thing, whoops.

So in the BCS x Lily things I'm writing, bartylily are a thing but Lily is honestly kind of sick of Barty. He's acting like a child sometimes, she has to do all the emotional labour and he fucks right off to hang out with his friends (ily Barty but grow up). She kind of starts obsessing over BCS instead, because she sees him like a polished grown up version of Barty (don't tell Barty he would crash out). And as noon so perfectly said:

"boys your age could never, but BCS can"

(I was actually yearning for a daddy type marauders era dynamic but I would never go between monty and effie, and noon just presented me the perfect culprit)

I like to think that BCS is one of these people who keeps his composure easily, and it pisses Barty off to no end. He would rather have his dad scream and shout and fight because it's something he could deal with. But silence? hell no.

PS: let's please call them seniorlily, pretty pls. elderbartylily makes it sound like girly is hanging out in the retirement home 🤞🏻
