its funny how a well written fanfiction can change your mind. because, yes, Partyvan (Peter,Barty, Evan) is basically a joke and the name sounds funny but reading about an insecure Peter, soft Evan and a crazy Barty changed my brain chemistry

Barty as the worst time falling asleep unless he's with Evan. They love to hold each other so tightly when falling asleep. They love the grip and the pressure.
On the topic of sleeping, Evan has absolutely atrocious night terrors and Barty will always subconsciously wake up when he's having one even if Evan didn't disturb him in any way.
They're really not huge on PDA but Barty likes to put a heavy hand on the back of Evan's neck, or on his thigh under the table, especially in a situation where Evan is high anxiety or sort of on the brink of a potential episode, and Barty can tell he's slipping from reality.
Barty is sometimes rough with Evan and at the beginning of their relationship, Evan just accepts it. But as he grows more comfortable with Barty he allows himself to fight back and be aggressive in return, which Barty LOVES.
They rarely say "I love you" to each other, but instead other variations, such as "I adore you" or "I want you all the time" things like that. "I love you" is too hard, too real, for them.
I have this very particular scene in my head where barty often goes on whole rants about how much he dislikes poetry, but evan actually loves it and so he just doesn't say anything. A few months later when Barty finds out he feels sorta bad, so he buys a book of all these poems and rips out the pages to leave places for Evan to find as an unspoken apology.
Evan is obsessed with dangerous plants and small creatures, and it kind of freaks Barty out to walk into any place where Evan has been staying/occupying because of all the sentient things that shouldn't be sentient, but Evan gets so excited to show off his "prettys" so barty just rolls with it.
Evan hates making eye contact in general but especially with Barty when he knows Barty is upset or frustrated, but his refusal to look at him enrages Barty even more so he's always grabbing Evan's face and forcing Ev to look at him.
Evan is only Barty's Rosie when Barty wants something from Evan.
A huge part of their relationship is learning to accommodate for each other, ESPECIALLY Barty for Evan. Evan can't stand too much attention, rooms too stuffy, crowds too large. He can't do sexual encounters in public spaces. There are so many things about Evan that annoyed Barty upon their initial developments into relationships, especially because as I've said before, Barty only approached him to use him. But as they got closer, Barty just fell in love with all of Evan's odd.
Barty knows what they do is unacceptable and wrong but loves it and encourages it anyways. Evan doesn't always understand the fault of their behavior.
Barty would never ever let anyone else scold or criticize Evan. He can, but no one else may under any circumstances.
Evan hates when other people touch Evan, even if it's friendly. He lives in constant fear that he'll be left by Barty like he has been in the past by others.
We've talked about this a bit but I see their power dynamic to be very resembalent of Lestat and Louis (barty and evan respectively) and also a bit of hannibal and will (barty and evan respectively)
Barty learns to understand what Evan is saying or wants without Evan having to speak and Evan gets good at communicating those things without words. In fact whole days could go by where Evan says nothing but they still can function together just fine.
