we need all five seasons of sense8 because i don’t think anyone in the fandom is emotionally stable enough to write all the fanfiction it would take to even begin to recover from this show ending...

for those with opinions of any kind about Kala/Wolfgang/Rajan...

Here’s a thought - Lana ended the 2hr special on a purposefully vague/astounding/surprising “resolution” for Kala/Wolfgang/Rajan because she wanted fans both excited for and upset at the status of their stories so that they would feel eager to see more.

Maybe Lana didn’t want to resolve everything so clearly because she wanted us to keep up the drive to fight to see more of where this show is intended to continue! 

If everything was resolved and cleanly answered (which it isn’t) no one would want to keep fighting for more of this beautiful show.

But Sense8 is not over! Lana believes that anything is possible! She wants us to keep fighting for these beautiful characters and this incredible show. Now is a time to band together rather than be divided by our differences of opinion. 

She literally wrote that line into the 2hr special: 

For all the differences between us, and all the forces that try to divide us, they will never exceed the power of love to unite us. 

Let’s fight for this show together! We all want to see it continue! We’ve done it once before! We can do it again! Sense8 Is Not Over!

Let’s not forget, Sense8 never plays by the rules. The two-hour special which tuned out to be 2 and a half hours is just the latest example of what this horizon opening show can and always has encompassed. Sense8 instinctively takes the paths less taken, paths previously thought impossible and improbable so calling the latest episode a wrap up is not only inconclusive but limiting the capacity of a limitless showpiece that has time and time again, defied expectations and subverted popular tropes and expected. It is inaccurate to judge the scope of a sunset when you are looking at it through a hole in a paper cup that was passed down from generations of television viewers. It’s time to embrace the blinding spectacle that is Sense8 and realize that each sunset, sets up the next sunrise.

My feelings of pride in the power of @sense8 love is strong! I love this show and the people who love it. We are strong and we fight for love to live on in every format: mural, season 3, AND forever in our hearts! Our victory has reminded me that we have many more victories to come in the future! I know that when we come together with love and hope and faith in the LOVE Sense8 inspires, we can do incredible things. We truly are stronger together, as a global cluster, as one heart. I am excited for the love the mural will spread and inspire and I am excited for our fight to continue as we show @netflix how far our love can go, how powerful our energy is, and how much we want Sense8 Season 3!!!! 🏳️‍🌈💞✨
