You’ve probably heard the jokes about residence hall dining, especially for those gluten sensitive, but today’s dining facilities at York University’s campus resemble restaurants rather than traditional cafeterias.

Try Berries & Blooms (http://berriesandbloomscatering.com/our-restaurant/in York lanes. Grab a dish and fill it half full with cottage cheese and the rest with fresh fruit such as berries, grapes, watermelon, or orange slices.
For lunch why not stop off at Freshii (https://www.freshii.com/home) in the Lassonde Building and grab a chicken warrior bowl. Full of protein, fiber, and complex carbohydrates this meal is sure to keep you feeling full till dinner. Feeling more like pizza? Stop by the Bethune Café and get a personalized gluten free pizza with marinara sauce made fresh. Top off your meal with a veggies or a salad from the salad bar.
Studying late on campus and don’t know what to grab? Try the Underground in the student’s center, they're open until eleven. You can try the top sirloin steak with vegetables, or if you’re feeling like something lighter give the avocado salad a try. Both are guaranteed to be gluten free.
Always remember to mention your allergies/sensitivities to the cook to make sure of cross contamination.
