everything was a blur - he should have slept, should have stopped drinking before 6am. and he knew all of this, and yet he was still walking to class at 8am with a beer tucked away in his backpack for when the hangover kicked in. and since he wasn’t quite waling straight, and the ground was still slick with ice, it wasn’t really surprising that he ended up falling. and dragging the nearest person down with him in a feeble attempt to stay upright. “shit, i’m so sorry,” he slurred.
