      The siren glanced back at her with a smile, tilting her head up to look at him with his umbrella while he moved to kneel before her- he could give her assistance...           but where was the fun in that~?

     “Oh my darling dear, haven’t you heard about when Sirens catch their prey~?”

     He let his umbrella move from under her chin, the blade within threatening to poke out and nick her but he moved it before it could do anymore damage. Tilting his head to the side, he smiled to himself.

      “They leave them to die... But if you’re going to...~? Well, that’s up to you- you wish to survive, no~?”

                “Hm? Oh, yanno, just showed up - thought ya’ might need a hand.”

Accelerated beating of wanton hearts, the pulse of voice and bated breath - scarlet daggers scattered from his shoulders and descended as bloody rain amongst the disparate debris of a rockslide in the mountain pass, swiftly dispatching hidden perpetrators that had the potential to do the aura hero harm.    While the enigmatic NUMBER 2 wasn’t generally one to stray from his cityscape territory, a stray police report indicated an ambush masquerading as a search and rescue - without telling a soul his suspicions, the WING HERO was gone.

                   “Not sure they meant for the avalanche,            so here’s to thinkin’, there’s probably an actual couple of rescues we oughta look for.   Can’t imagine they’ll be happy to be saved and arrested, so I’ll stay with ya’.“

“It’s already healed, please don’t worry so much.  It’s just too heavy for me to lift,” she insisted, palms flat on the ground where she sat, her ankle pinned down by a heavy-looking boulder that had come loose as she climbed.

“A hero needing to be rescued... how embarrassing.  Can you help lift it off so we can just go ahead and pretend this never happened?”

Because he has an aversion to being touched, especially by people he doesn’t know very well and in turn goes out of his way to avoid it himself when it comes to others (plus she looks very young compared to him. Around his sisters age, he’s guessing), he’s opting to veto the options provided. 

And instead gives her a pat on the head.
