In a world full of noise, some children tune into beauty we can't always see. This artwork captures sensory sensitivity and brilliance—how urban life might feel for an autistic child: vibrant, overwhelming, but also uniquely magical.

Through therapy and understanding, we help children navigate their world—not mute it.

Agitation in the Brightness

Sometimes, it starts with just a light. Too bright, too sharp and suddenly everything is too much. People talking, walking, laughing. It’s like the world is turned up to max volume and my mind can’t process fast enough. I get agitated, tense, overwhelmed. There’s no "off" button, no safe corner to disappear into. Even when I’m standing still, my nerves are sprinting. The worst part? It’s invisible. No one sees the panic behind the smile. I’m trying, every day, to cope, to breathe, to just exist. But some days, the light and the presence of people feel like battles I never signed up for.
